Toru has been labeled "potential traitor" since the start of the manga. In the chapter where the class elects the class president she was absent and Shigaraki destroyed the school gate to create chaos. This was a chance for the invisible Toru to sneak into the faculty room and steal information about All Might's schedule.
But wouldn't it be too simple? I would hardly believe Horikoshi could use her powers this way.
From other side, Toru's real quirk is light emitting/light's refraction. This could be used to send messeages in Morse code.

My personal view about all this "traitor" theme.
1. It must be someone from class 1-A. Because traitor beinv from 1B will not have such influencem on readers. So option about Monoma is unvalid
2. I pretty much sure it is Aoyama..Way He was introduced in the beginning, his strange behaviour, his speech about him wanting "being "equal" with everybody. Just my thoughts

TBH for me its hard to imagine a student being the traitor. No student really stands out in such a way in which it would make sense for them to be traitors this late in the game. If there is a traitor it'd be someone from the faculty. A student would have to do quite a lot of work to actually be able to gather the information that the villain alliance has used so far. Which isn't impossible but it sounds pretty damn unlikely. A mere student consistently pulling one over an entire staff of highly trained professionals in a variety of things sounds like a stretch to me.

Also.... the more i think about it... The more I think the traitor is someone with a connection to OFA rather than shigaraki. So an older person makes more sense. Add to that, being older and within the faculty would give them a perfect cover. it'd be someone who has respect and perhaps would be above suspicion. And... it'd have to be someone whose thoughts we haven't seen of course.

So... the ones i would rule out are... The principal because we have seen his thoughts plenty of times. It'd be the worst writing in the series to date if it was the principal. i'd also rule out the normal teachers. as in aizawa, present mic, midnight... Vlad is probably above suspicion as well IMO.

Out of the remaining staff... The only one that stands out to me is actually recovery girl. She has just about enough relevance for this to be a shock to both readers and the good guys within the story while also being old enough to have had a connection with AFO.

Also an interesting bit.... How did AFO survive his fight with allmight? He presumably took substantial amounts of damage from allmight in his prime. Recovery girl playing a part in AFO surviving wouldn't be too strange.

Alternatively, it'd also make a fair bit of sense if she didn't do it intentionally. recovery is known nation wide for her particularly useful quirk and is at large a respected medical professional. And then you have ujiko who is a genius working for AFO... It's by no means a stretch that these two know each other. They could even be friends. Which would give ujiko a crapton of opportunities to bug her or something to that effect.

Well in the Christmas chapter Principal Concluded the spy isn't among the Students, so it's either they messed up or it's among the teachers.
I assume it's the latter.

Aizawa and Vlad definitely not. And Present Mic.

Probably Cementoss, since he knows about All Might, and he is teh one that checks Deku when he's back to his parents house.
Not really strong of a hint though, just a guess.

If a teacher is the traitor then it should be Snipe. He was a main character in the original BNHA oneshot and he is one of the few teachers who have an S-rank.

In my opinion, Nezu may unknowingly/unwillingly be a spy. Or, rather than a spy, he may be a source of information, without even knowing that a certain someone can, well, see what he sees/hear what he hears.

Let me elaborate.
We know that Nezu is «an extremely rare» case of a quirk manifesting in an animal, and that he went through multiple experiments.
Now, there is a certain doctor, a well-known quirk specialist, who, as we know, isn’t above using numerous people, including children from his orphanages, and even his own grandson, for his experiments. So, there is a chance that this very same doctor pretty much created Nezu as we know him nowadays, as a part of his early experiments.

Any opinions?

I'm also still leaning in Nezu's direction for similar reasons. There's also the fact that experimentation with rats seems to have had something to do with quirk development. The rat symbol was even prominent in the lore of the MLA.

The problem with Nezu being the traitor is he's one of the few trusted people who know about One For All. Plus, we've been in his POV and he's honestly looking for the actual traitor.

Many people now say about Uraraka but see no reason her being a traitor

Yeah, uraraka being the traitor makes no sense. Overall we simply have to rule out any character whose point of view we have seen at any point assuming we are talking about someone leaking information intentionally and maliciously. I do still think whoever is doing this has a direct connection to AFO at least given that shigaraki was far from being in charge back then.

That Nezu might unknowingly/unwillingly be a spy is the key there. If so his POV would not count, as he would be unaware of his own betrayal.

True, but that would be misleading the audience and I hope Horikoshi wouldn't stoop to that level.

What if Deku is unknowingly the traitor? After meeting his predecessors, seeing the memories of AFO and AFO's younger brother, and AFO's comment about hearing his little brother's voice there could be some kind of connection between Deku and AFO.

I've considered this before but there is a specific bit which makes me think this is unlikely... When seeing the result of the apparent leaks it always looks like the league had at least some time to plan for this. And IIRC deku didn't exactly get told about the events in advance. The league's response time would have to be insane if deku is the source because they would have learned about this exactly as deku did. It's not impossible obviously but to me it makes more sense that the league would have learned about this with more anticipation.

It’s not uncommon in Shonen manga for there be multiple traitors. So if there is multiple traitors then the traitors could be a teacher and a student.

Egdeshot was holding a meta army book a few chapters back. Plus he's a ninja so he could definitely kill a few small fry heroes without getting caught.
Edgeshot as a traitor to be honest does not seem to me a plausible option, we have also seen him fight in Kamino.

If I remember correctly, Horikoshi himself said he didn't remember putting this in the manga.

I think that is a rumour
