I think aoyama is the traitor, maybe he doesn't even know that he is, the belt that he always wear maybe it is given to him by dr ujiko in case he was his doctor so maybe it is preventing aoyama's quirk side effect and also working as a spy tool in the same time
Aoyama most likely spy from higher-ups to find a mole. I mean the fact that his bedroom near Dekus is highly coincidence.

What is everybody's thoughts that it MIGHT be Froppy? I mean she was with Deku during the USJ accident, She was with Ochaco during the camp arc, and she was one of the main people that told the class not to go get bakugo back during kamino. I doubt it but i can also maybe see it

Her being with Deku during USJ means nothing, so does her being with Ochaco. Neither proves or disproves her as the traitor. As for not telling the Kamino Group not to go there, if she was the traitor she would've snitched on them to the League. The ones who didn't know about their plan are the ones who are suspect.

Just a thought but what if theres two moles? I mean it was said at the start that class A was supposed to be 18 students just like B but then two people ( Momo and Shoto) got recommendations. Maybe a hint?

Aoyama probably was asked by Ua stuff to find a mole. Its just a thought but I think at Festival it was hinted somebody from class tried to kill off Aoyama

Principle Nezu, the genius that he is, asked a student to help find the mole? And, that one student is Aoyama? What reason would Nezu ask specifically him to do that?

Someone tried to kill Aoyama? I don't remember that. What chapter did this happen in?

I doubt that Nezu asked Aoyama to find the traitor but I do think Aoyama knows who the traitor is because of that ominous note he left for Izuku.

Aaand why not? First, if they think mole is among students than its best to chose someone from them to find out. Second, unlike ua stuff we know very little about Aoyama except his quirk. Who knows whats in his background. His behaviour during 167-168 perfectly fits in this theory.

During Festival Aoyama was suppose to act as disco ball hanging from the ceiling on a rope.
But then in 175
Its just my thought but I do suspect someone tried if not to kill then badly injure Aoyama

"Still waters run deep" is an old Proverb. I think Aoyama was trying to describe himself and Deku as that.

Okay. Why not Monoma? Or, Ojiro? Or, anyone else we don't know much about? Your reasoning can fit a number of students. It just seems you happened to pick Aoyama.

I'm not telling you how to think but try to look for harder evidence whenever possible. Here's an example:

This person's theory is backed up by harder evidence about why it's that specific person. I'm not saying it's 100% true (even though I believe it), but it's a convincing argument.

I told you. Because it explains his behaviour in 167-168. You just chose to ignore those because it proves the point. Its not me who choosed Aoyama to act strangely in those chapters. It was Kohei Horikoshi. The author of this manga.

The still water runs deep could hint that traitor is a quiet person.

I think, based on evidence, that the Toru Hagakure = the traitor theory is most plausible.

However, I believe Horikoshi himself mentioned that he completely forgot about the traitor plotline. So I think he might go with something different than what he had in mind initially when he started the traitor plot.

The thing is, I think the traitor plotline is interesting, because ever since it was introduced I kept it in the back of my mind. But I am really hoping that whoever it is, it is someone impactful. While I think Toru is logically the most plausible traitor, I don't think her being the traitor is very interesting. I would much rather have someone like Ochaco be the traitor (that would be super interesting), or Tsuyu, or Momo. Someone who has had attention in the story, someone we as the readers have followed pretty closely and think we know, so someone that was the traitor right under our noses.

That’s a false rumor from tumblr.

No, you're assuming you're right and are trying to justify your argument by saying that's what Horikoshi is going for. Aoyama was being weird in an effort to make friends because he felt a connection to Deku thinking they both got quirks that don't fit with their bodies. This was explained at the end.

There's nothing to hint at Nezu asking a student to help find the traitor. No evidence whatsoever. That would be like me saying Nezu asked Momo for help finding the traitor because she put a tracking device on a Nomu. Again, it's a leap of logic without evidence, and trying to say it was Hori's plan and therefore you're right is a dishonest way to try to win an argument.

The still water runs deep could hint that traitor is a quiet person.

If that's true, what's the reason for telling Deku? Why tell anyone except Nezu? What does the traitor even have to do with those chapters?

Let's not spread rumors like that without a source. I've heard people say Hori forgot simply because he hasn't revealed the traitor yet. Just like with the Ujiko reveal, or Toya, or Bakugo's hero name, Hori is waiting for when he's ready to give us that information.

You know, I just don't understand people wanting the traitor to be a shocking reveal for shock's sake. Most us knew Toya was Dabi but the last chapters with Dabi revealing it to the world as well and to Endeavor and Shoto has been some of the most enjoyable scenes in this arc. It's not just who the traitor is, it's the how and the why that matters.

It's not about shock for shock factor. I just like to be surprised and would like the traitor be someone I thought I knew. Hagakure is such a faraway background character that if she is revealed to be the traitor, I would feel very meh about it. The how and why is still relevant if the traitor turns out to be a character that was more in the foreground throughout the series. In fact, I would say even more so!

I am not trying anything except trying make sense of what we were presented in the manga. 167-168 came out of nowhere and obviously not just about Aoyama trying make friends. This page alone is enough to get it.

That because this is how the troupe suppose to work. It supposed to be someone whose reveal will make at least some impact. Thats why Hagakure ( along with Koda, Sato and Mineta) is out of questions if you ask me. People wanting her to be a mole is based on two things. First her quirk is perfect for the job. Second it wouldnt hurt anyone. If Kohei made some development to her it would make sense but now its too late for this.

Froppy got one of the recommendations though.

With this in mind and going by all the dropped hints, the logical and best choice for a mole would be Ochaco. However Horikoshi has time and again made choices that don't fit and are just strange... Froppy could work, but not as well as Ochaco. However Ochaco's recent interactions with Himiko both supports the idea of Ochaco having issues as well as make it more difficult for her to be the traitor. On one hand we have the fact that Himiko understands people and is able to use their quirks because she understand their desire... so Ochaco denying so hard that she wants to drop people from high places seems pretty damning...

About the traitor, I had a probably-stupid idea: what if the traitor doesn't even know they're a traitor? I don't know how that would work, but it's an idea that's been on my mind for awhile now.

You mean the traitor is a sleeper agent.
