I've been reading this since last week, and I already like it. It's a step away from Shounen for me, but still, this is an excellent manga to read. I'm already on Chapter 41, and still going.

The information written above is incorrect. On the last page of the chapter there is a box that says the author is taking a break and that #261 is scheduled to appear sometime in January.

I'm kind of happy Ueda's ghost came back - I wonder what more he'll say. He's one of my favorite characters in the series, and I must be his only fangirl, truthfully.
Poor Otsu, though. She doesn't really deserve his crappy love advice. Follow your heart, I say, and whatnot.

I don't know if it's only me that had missed that, but I just found all the Edited Mangas up to #260. A good X-Mas gift. Thanks to all those who did it. It's been dated to Dec 6th but I never saw anything about it in the forums.

Volume Covers of the Viz English editions?

Anyone have them? The link to the volume covers on the otaku cafe thread is dead, and the ones I found on the site are the Japanese covers. Does any have the English Viz ones? I'm hoping to find the front and back volume covers for volumes 1-27. Thanks! (specifically I'm looking for the back cover of volume 5)

No one knows when the next chapter is coming out. It was scheduled to be out "sometime in January" but it's not certain.

Just thought I should let the Vagabond faithful know that the next chapter will be coming out Feb. 5th according to Inoue's blog.

Be vigilant and be sure to look for the scans. We've been without Vagabond since October!

Vagabond is a pretty popular manga in Japan, so I'm expecting an anime to be produced sometime along the line.

Or maybe an OAV.

But how do you wanna make an anime out of this awesome artwork, it'll probably be a disappointment, just look at the Berserkanime f.e., which was ultimate fail imo.

I'm assuming Vagabond 261 has been released in Japan. It's supposed to be featured in the Feb. 5th issue of Morning, so I guess that was supposed to be today if the Japanese forward the dates on their releases.

There are so many movies/mini series about Musashi that a Vagabond anime would be superfluous. There is a Musashi anime in the works by Production I.G. but as far as I know it won't be based on Vagabond.
