Uh oh, Musashi's concentration is slackening and the devious Yoshioka elites are moving in for the kill!! I hope they do come up with something totally non-bushido since they have already lost all honor by attacking Musashi 70-1 anyway. >:E

Haha, I agree that the two monks in Musashi's head are really irritating but amusing at the same time. The monks in Vagabond are the coolest!

Anyway, since he kept asking for the number he has slain, I actually counted and got 55!!(*o*)

Keep up the flow, Musashi, only 14 more to go!!! ^^

OMFG!!!!!! A month in a half without Vagabond!!!!!!!?!?!?!?! This chapter ended in such a cliffhanger! I can't wait for the translation to see what Ueda said.

i'm ready for the story to continue on i've seen enough nobodies get slashed i believe that goatee guy is the only skilled one left so the next chapt will hopefully wrap things up with the yoshioka school but ye those last few pages did end in a cliffhanger

Ugh, I doubt even this will end things with Yoshioka. They're a major reaccuring theme. I mean really, even if Musashi manages to kill everyone now, there's bound to be someone who was out sick and is going to resurrect the school.

I'm loving Vagabond so far.

BUT I have to admit that I read the last 8 chapters in one night and together it reads much, much better as a collection than individually, so I think I lucked out.

At the same time, waiting until June 19th, ugh. At least it's June now, though.

I'm wondering how the hell Ueda will still be any contest for Musashi though. Of course, Musashi is going to be gasping for air by the time he gets to him again.

Well, it depends if Ueda fights fairly. Since he's with Yoshioka, he probably will. I mean, even when the whole school decides to attack him as a mass, they only manage one at a time...well, at least for most of it. However, if he plays dirty, Musashi has a problem.

I've read that historically speaking about 10-15years after the confrontation with Musashi the Yoshioka as samurai and dojo fell apart. And the Yoshioka became business of some sort.

If my memory of the novel is correct, the story is about to get a loooot more boring.

After Musashi kills the Kempo, he gets into a fight with a farmer and almost dies. I think the only character of note he fights before his final match with Kojiro is Gonnosuke, but I might be mistaken. He takes a life as a farmer for just about the entire time until the match at Ganryu Island, so either the manga is going to draw to a close relatively soon, or we're going to get a whole lot of self-reflective 'sashi. The only plus side is as Musashi pusses out and starts dirt ploughing, Kojiro gets into a lot of fights with some big name fighters in Edo, so at least we can get some face time with our favorite deaf swordsman

Read the spoiler. Anyways in the novel Kojiro wasn't deaf. Also in the novel the 3rd heir to the Yoshioka was like a 12 year old brother or cousin. Not Ueda. I think the story has already strayed enough to make the story go differently on its own.
