Ryukishi really shouldn't overdoing it. It was a good decision of them that he should take some rest, like for freaking sake man I rather wait till the summer (to my feeling tme flies anyway) and be certain that it will be released then seeing him killing himself at this point lol. Masterpieces that he writes deserves some rest but ofc. not the rest in the sense of Togashi tyvm xd

He has such an interesting drawing style like seriously man even with his drawing style he knows how to make it look so nice with the coloring.

Read up to five chapters of PH. I don't think I got the gist of the story so far, and there are a lot of questions marks above my head, but I think (or hope, lol) that's normal at this point. Feels a little bit like this Umineko-thing. But on a serious note, I like the setting so far. There are a lot of parties around, and every single one of them seems to pursue a different goal, which I'm not aware of yet. We have these Death Gods, Alice, Break, Oz, the Pandora organization and I will just assume that all the great Duke families will play a part too. Then we have the Chains, contracts and the ticking seal, Alice's memories, Oz's pocket watch and his sin, the unknown grave underground, and so on. That's quite a lot.

I like Alice the most out of all characters. Wicked, crazy, cute, funny, mysterious and maybe not even 100% on the good side. Oz is fine too, at least he isn't one of those annoying MC's (far from it), so he has that going for him. Break is very interesting and hides a lot (like everyone else for that matter, lol), but I have no real opinion of him yet. He sure pulls a lot of strings for a simple servant. And please, Raven = Gilbert, I won't believe anything else. His expressions and reactions towards Oz are obvious as obvious can get. Only two questions which needs to be answered are how he grew up so fast (could be an aftereffect after his body was possessd by the Death God?) and why is he keeps it a secret (possibly, he blames himself for the events which happened during the ceremony?). By the way, Gilbert recognized one of the Death Gods and I think it's Oz's father, since he was mentioned a couple of times when Oz and Gilbert talked with each other. That is also probably the reason why Gilbert took the blow when Oz wanted to slice him up. I guess Gilbert holds Oz's father in high regard and (thinks he) owes him a lot? It could also be someone related to Gilbert himself, but I doubt it. Not to mention that there is this page as well, and I chances are that this person is indeed Oz's father. However, shouldn't Oz recognize his father's voice during the ceremony event? Welp.

Then there is Alice with her split memories around?

• the Death Gods know her
• one of her memories (dunno how to describe it any better) stated that Oz has been visiting her before, which Oz isn't aware about and later she gets full crazy-mode because Oz doesn't recognize her, which possibly hints that Oz maybe lost some of his memories too? Well... they said Oz was kidnapped once...

Everything is very puzzling right now. Me has no idea. Me likes anyway.

Yeah, he really should take his time. I don't mind waiting longer either, as long as the story and characters are good. Though I think comparing manga creators and "game" creators is somewhat difficult, the latter often takes many months or even years, while someone like Togashi normally should release a chapter each week, which definitely is a different kind of taxing

Currently at chapter ten right now and more mysteries pop up every now and then.

So, ten years have passed in the real world while Oz was in the Abyss. Hence, Gilbert is grown up now. His past is kinda unknown, since he has lost his memories as well (just why does this series hate memories?). Also, what the hell happened with Oz's family/household? There was no mention of them. Even Oz didn't ask about it.

I liked the encounter between Oz and Gilbert, it really moved ma heart. I also got to like Gilbert more now, he is very hellbent on doing everything in his might to help his young master. This is one of my favorite panels, Gilbert was so badass, you can't describe it with words, fucking awesome! I'm curious why he did end up in the Nightway household, and of course I want to know why the Nightway household opposes the Besarius household. Also, Oz seems to have a quite mature mindset, he definitely has a neck for words considering he is only 15 years old, really like his reaction and attitude towards the situations he has to face.

Then, there is also Abyss's will, yet another mystery. xD And Alice seems to be quite acquainted with it. There is another one of Alice's memories in chapter eight, but it didn't give any further information. Now, part of me thinks that this man might be adult Oz, and not his father?

Break and Sharin are contractors themselves, that's why they don't age. So... how old are both for REAL? Break doesn't even have one year left. I will definitely have an eye on these two, especially Break. He also asked Oz "where he is", whatever that means, I don't know.

Time seems to play a big role in this series, I hope the author doesn't, or should I say hasn't fucked up. I'm often more the skeptical guy when a show plays with time.

And wtf is wrong with Oz's father? What happened to his mother? And why can't he remember his father's face?

Hmh, can't add more. I think the translations are not really the best. Sometimes the sentences seem off or don't make sense. Sometimes they write "Besarius" and "Bezarius" in the same chapter, lol.

She appeared in the tenth chapter, but no information was revealed about her other than that she is from the Nighttray household, and that her Master is named Vincent. Didn't Gilbert receive a letter from this Vincent guy?

@syx I have read your posts but I can't answer you on most of the things since they are kinda answering themselves at this point lol. I do enjoy your 'wonderings' and the panels you showed it, brings me some nice memories back. xD Also it's Sharon instead of Sharin : P and Oz's surename is actually spelled as Vessalius however they pronounce it as Bezarius/Besarius. I have seen that a few times on some manga sites that they used one of the three with the translation even though it should be Vessalius so kinda lol but its kinda the same, I wouldn't pay too much attention to that. On which site do you read PH?
