It is called capitalism. Like it or not but the questionary system, with that I mean cutting series who rank bad, made WSJ the best selling Manga Magazine

The authors get plenty of notice before they get canceled. We don't get a lot of noticed but they get a fair amount.

Yeah you guys are right but the zoo manga ended In 13 place in total of 15 or whatever in its final week Toc , the worst should go first , jump has become the best selling magazine this way Cut the Less selling ones and keep the best selling ones ,Its an awfull sistem but its the life , so many promissing mangas that could have gone Up, but dont go because of the japanese readers only wanting at this point New Non Fighting mangas , if they are iteresting they should have at least a chance but no, tipical fighting mangas always end soon (nowadays) for example Comes Swot boom Cut , comes Zoo Boom Cut ... Realy now...But i get it Japanese reader want new rephreshing ideas, there are already so many fighting Mangas but i still dont agree with it...

I liked Zoo, but your citing Swot as an example? :blink It was better than Zan, but it was still awful in my opinion.

The cards aren't the only factor in deciding where a series is placed, or who gets cut. True, if you're continually in the bottom five you will get cut eventually.

I don't think the magazine is unfair at all. They listen to the fans, which is the most important thing a magazine could do. The readers want non-mainstream, so the three newest series have all been non-mainstream (I would consider romcom to be non-mainstream at this point).

Not sure, but Takamagahara was originally published as a 54 page one shot in the 2009 Akamaru Jump (NEXT!!!)

Also Kuroko no Basket had a CP this week, ohana must have forgot to put it in >.>

Two things about this week's TOC really caught my eye:

1.) I will eventually pee my pants of laughter some time in the near future, that is, when the day comes Bleach will eventually hit rock bottom. Seriously, this is what they call real-life satire.

2.) Takamagahara
I knew that name rang a bell to me, so I checked back some time and we had a OS back in Summer Akamaru JUMP 2009. Back then quite a few users got really hooked after seeing the preview pic:

It's a school battle series about people with special powers. Author is Kawai Juuzou. The title stems from Japanese mythology, it's the place where Japanese gods reside, so, something like the Japanese Olympus.^^

Well, all the "cushion series" are gone now. Unless Ikkyu, ST&RS and Harisugawa fall soon, there'll be an interesting contest in the next round of cancellations.

Interesting rankings this week. I;m a bit sad to see Beelzebub and Reborn in the bottom 5, so I know those two series aren;t going anywhere. I;m also glad to see that Enigma's brief stay in the bottom 5 last week, was just that, brief.

I do agree that with all the buffer gone, the next round of cancellations should look interesting, but that being said, at least one of the new series is bound to fail, given how the cycle usually works. If that didn;t happen though, I;d have no clue as to who would get the axe.
