There is no more if, smart guy. Sales have decreased significantly since Aizen was defeated, and TOC rankings have bottomed out. What else do you want? Bleach is in the bottom 5 every week, unless it has the cover or color. The last volume with Aizen sold just under 900,000 copies, volume 55 fell sold 637,362 before falling out of the top 50. Now, I never said Bleach would be canceled any time soon. What I said was Bleach would not be allowed to continue as long as Kubo wants. If he does not end Bleach in a timely manner, Kubo will risk cancellation.I never thought that it will continue to sell millions which is why I bolded the "if" part. Yes Bleach does sell millions of copies, not per volume but at the of the year, the 3/4 volumes released add over 4 million copies sold to Shueisha's total manga sold. Still in the top 10 even though a bit at the bottom half.
I disagree that the last arc can't be as long as the Arrancar arc. Sure they might cut Kubo off but better that then to get a halfassed ending imo. It also depends on what a person's reasonable amount of time amounts to. I say 5/6 years personally including this year. 220+ chapters is plenty to finish up.
Like I said before, if a manga is popular then Shueisha probably does not want it to end. Now we can argue about popularity and decline all we want until next year but numbers don't lie. Bleach sells good. Not as much as before of course but still in the millions. Better than most mangas and higher on the end of the year list if opposing magazine mangas are taken out such as Fairy Tail.
Kishi will be allowed more "time" is more akin to take your sweet time and try ending super late so that our 2013 manga sales are high as possible, maybe even buff the beginning of 2014 sales.
Clearly there is no discussing this with you, it is obvious you have no objective basis for your argument. You haven't even bothered to check facts available in this very subforum. Believe what you will.
If series that sell well are not canceled, please explain Mago. Then explain To Love Ru.
Business is not a competition. "Selling more than Fairy Tail" is not a long term business plan.

lolMy solution: more panels, more plot per chapter instead of the stretching, less cliffhangers, less half/fullpages for explosions => success! The way he is setting up the characters to lose isn't gonna make it any easier for the voters.
And if Kubo had written One Piece he'd have written the most popular manga ever.
