It seems like ever since Hachi and Koi no Cupid ended, Soul Catcher(s) started getting in danger, but this ToC seems to reinforce it.

Looks like I was right about the four new series getting mixed around this issue away from their order of release. Speaking of that...

Illegal Rare is currently 7 chapters in. If this counts as an early indication of how it's doing, like AC in its 5th chapter, it looks like we might be seeing one of WSJ's next smash hits. Not as big as AC, of course.

Akira Amano one shot and Haikyu covers is the best part of this ToC. Cant wait to see what she has in store for us. And for Haikyu must be prepping for the anime, wonder if nekoma anime designs and more will be unveiled.

I imagine illegal rare isnt really that high if one piece and toriko were in it this week.

Actually, compared to the other newer series, it jumped outta nowhere. Even TWB, which released last, is below it.

I guess I should've downsized my estimate. I mean, I personally haven't seen any firm indication as to why IR would deserve a position this high at the moment.

... might compare to the introduction of Karma in terms of shock factor, thus jacking up the rankings, but that's assuming current chapters have an effect on current rankings, and that's assuming these two series might be treated the same given the similar degrees of success of their creators' past series, but maybe I'm just overthinking again.

And yes, I actually forgot to take OP and Toriko into account.

For the moment, though, it's still quite a decent position.

I dont know if we can really conclude anything from comparing it to the other series at this point in time using only this toc. Seems like an anomoly just like last week it being bottom five and this week top five. Its like the editors are just throwing darts and basing placements on their score :/

Oh well using the eight week measure will be interesting to see where it lands next week and with no series absent too for a complete and comprehensive picture.

The oneshot by Shinohara is about a boy who sold his soul to the devil (who I'm assuming is the chick in the pic) and how she bought it.

'Nanjou Fusato is a guy who sold his soul to the devil....but what is it that appeared before him....!?'

I guess 4 weeks from now, we will start seeing the real choices with every new series "supposedly" starting to get ranked. I just felt IR jumped kinda suddenly outta nowhere ahead of all the other new serializations in spite of being the first to appear.

I think TWB and Illegal rare will get good positions,i can't still say that for Ishojo and Stealth symphony.
Good position for WT,while Soul catcher(S) is really in danger,and if won't be a worse series than it,I think will be axed

I'm kind of agreeing with you on that one. I think it is too early to consider Illegal Rare going to be smash hit because the editors put it on top place. I think unranked position is good for predicting whether the series will drop to bottom 5 or not; but, not a good indicator for whether the series will be hit or not.

It looks like Jump magazines (Shounen Jump, Jump SQ, V Jump, and Saikyou Jump) going to have another their own variety program, called Tokusou Keisatsu Jumpolice (which going to take over Sakiyomi JumBang).
