Great news indeed, it'll serve as a point of how big the series is. Now everyone will understand that it's not being axed soon.

It's too soon for an anime IMO. What's the rush with Boku? It's not going anywhere. If it's well done and two-cour and follows the story that's fine but still.

Although, OP, SS and HXH all turned out fine and they got their anime early as well. A hundred chapters should be the minimum though

Let's hope it will be an OVA and that the anime just got green lit. I think Reborn and DGM also got their announcement as the same time yet I'm not sure.

"This year's 48th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine will announce on Monday that Ryō Nakama's Isobe Isobee Monogatari ~Ukiyo wa Tsurai yo~ (Chronicle of Isobe -The Life Is Hard-) manga will get a new anime adaptation and a stage play adaptation.

The issue refers to the anime as a 'mame anime' (bean anime) or 'manime' for short. The issue explains that a 'mame anime' is a short anime of approximately 30 seconds in length, and states: 'You can start watching it from any episode. You'll probably even be able to watch it outside of your TV.'

The stage play adaptation will premiere in spring 2016. Kenichi Suemitsu is writing the scripts and directing the play, and Shunsuke Wada is in charge of the music."

The issue adds that the 'shocking announcement' will have a 'seriously! Super surprising!!' feeling. The announcement will be featured on an opening color page.

The 48th issue is also revealing that Hirofumi Neda will launch the Boku no Hero Academia Smash!! (My Hero Academia Smash!!) 'special spinoff' manga on the Jump+ digital app and in Weekly Shonen Jump."

I feel like the "My Hero Academia" anime is all but confirmed at this point.

"My Hero Academia Smash" is basically going to be like that Haikyuu!! spin-off isn't it? Well cool, I guess. However, I wish the spin-off was something a little different. Maybe something like the "Sinbad" spin-off "Magi" has. You know, show a story of All-Might in his younger years. That would be a great spin-off....
