I hope Shueisha starts releasing One Peice Kanzeban or special edition volumes. And don't say, but the series isn't finished or it won't increase sales. Oda's art and this series deserve it.

I'm wondering why shueisha stopped releasing the One Piece Logs: they were cheap, large in size and contained all the color pages

They are normally released 5 to 10 times after a series end. The sole objective of them is to bring a new generation and as nostalgia effect for old fans, but this time with better quality.
Something like this happening would be unprecedented and wouldn't make much sense in a business sense! Because after One Piece ends, what kind of version will they print? Will they create a even better quality volume version other than Kanzeban?
The One Piece Logs, basically One Piece Magazine, is something that makes more sense.

Does anyone know where to find scans or even photos from old issues of the magazine?

They only did it until the timeskip(ch 597) and at that time One Piece was at chapter 692(When Ceaser gets a Grizzly Magnum).

The Magazine were released 1 each month and had around 20 chapters per issue(Basically the same number of series in a Weekly Shonen Jump Magazine) so it would reach the series by six months(or less given Oda breaks), in the beginning of Dressrossa. Ending in the time-skip seems a better idea. And maybe they right now are waiting for time to pass to start them again.

A question, do anybody knows how much One Piece Log issues sold? They aren't included into the volume sales, are they?

An what is your point? I don't need an explanations what the logs are.
And by the way, I would really appreciate it if you would get the informations correct: http://onepiece.wikia.com/wiki/One_Piece_Log_Books

I didn't even like this manga, but I'm sad to see it end
it finished with 36 chapters, so I think it will get 4 volumes, just 1 volume more than what it would've gotten if it was serialized in wsj

they also ended Yagiza no Yuujin, The Maou-sama, Yukari-chan, Wareware wa Uchuujin na no da!! & I think Donpatch spinoff is ending too

It may actually show up this time since shosekiranking's rankings aren't really that similar to the Oricon's. For example this week Online's 3rd volume was supposed to rank on 50th place but it didn't show up on Oricon's list and some of other placements were much higher or lower. Only the top 5-10 were the closest to the Oricon's ranking I think?

Given that Jojo's gotten... I don't even know how many editions, I'm sure One Piece will get a fuckton of them. Jojo has had tankoubons, bunkobans, "Jump Remixes" which are kind of like logs, Jojoniums which are 'hakosoubans' which are basically Kanzenbans in all but name, and also those big magazine sorta things, the soushuuhens, which compiled parts 1-3. Once One Piece is close to ending they'll probably release some sorta collector's edition and then make an even better collector's edition like a couple years after it ends. Plus like 3 cheaper versions. Then make an even better anniversary edition like 5 years after it ends. Everyone will buy all 100 volumes like 10 times.

Shame, it was decent battle shonen and that's all I wanted from it. Volumes sold really poorly though, at least the mangaka got some experience after being away for a while.

A one-shot by American authors? Well the art style looks interesting.
