You sure? The caracter looks ho (歩) not fu (府). Besides, it shouldn't be Mono no Ho/Fu, with separate words?

It is written: ものの歩 however, depending on the reading it could be fu. Unfortunately there are no Furigana on the TOC page. I guess we have to wait for the preview

i think the mangakas of Kiruko-san, cross mange, muto black & (maybe even Kurogane ) should be returning soon

Heh. You know, I just realized that with Kochikame being at its 39th anniversary with 196 volumes as of tomorrow, that means next year it's is both going to reach the 40th anniversary mark as well as become the first series to get to 200 volumes. Quite some big milestones.

Maybe Kochikame will be on the spine of Jump for the next year?

Why? Any story can be awesome regardless of its theme, it only depends on the writer. Just look at Hikaru no Go.

Black Clover went up to its usual spot, and btw, I'm pretty surprised with Best Blue's first ranking. With the whole sports anime/manga boom I thought it would be huge.

We'll have to see how it does in the following weeks, but I seriously was convinced it would be the next Haikyuu/KnB.

Kuroko started off pretty low and it didn't start introducing elements that made those popular until the fourth chapter, unlike the oneshot. It may already be too late, but I hope not. There are no more buffers.

Actually no, the first Kuroko rank was in the 4th place, after this a color page, after this 6th place, color page, 3 weeks between 7th and 11th place (only one of them in the bottom 5 and if you not count Jaguar), color page, 4th place (Beelzebub wasn't ranked yet), another 4th place and etc.

Well I hope everyone here who's interested in Shogi will like the new series, and I wish it luck cause it's gonna need it in WSJ.

Personally Shogi doesn't interest me, neither do sports manga. I'm glad the ones who like them enjoy them, but it's just not for me. So I think I'll be skipping this one.
I wonder what the other new series will be about.

Kamidori must've gotten a bad reception last summer. This Shogi series came out of nowhere, glad it wasn't Shiibashi's Grand Ultimate Move soccer oneshot. That was awful.

I like it as well. However, those who have read (it ended in young Jump a couple of months ago, scans are ongoing) 81 Diver know what a "good" Shogi manga is (except for the art maybe). I have to say, if Momonofu (Heji was right) hasn't a good selling point it won't convince me through shogi alone, through shogi strategies themselves
