Completed
1. YYH/Toriko
2. Death Note
3. Fist Of The North Star
4. Medaka Box
5. Naruto

Ongoing
1. HxH
2. Academia
3. Kimetsu No Yaiba
4. One Piece (the recent arc has really turned me off from the series and the TS as a whole)
5. Shokugeki no Soma (haven't read in a while)

If Seikimatsu Leader Den Takeshi is as good as Toriko/YYH then it can go there. Sadly its being translated at a slow pace but very grateful that it's being translated in the first place. It's obscure (outside of Japan) so I never imagined it'd be translated. A translations group should start translating Kinnikuman entirely...that would be awesome and I could see it making my top list.

Do you guys think we'll get another Shonen like DB where the MC becomes an adult mid run
Certainly possible. But keep in mind that Toriyama had to fight the editors to make Goku an adult as Dragonball was transitioning to a more action oriented story and he felt that he had to make changes accordingly.

Though out of Jump's current lineup I say these series have the greatest likelyhood while maintaining narrative flow.

One Piece (Likely Jump will not let it die barring death of the author)
The Promised Neverland (A timeskip perhaps but becoming adults is kinda stretching it)
Hero Academia (The kids can make the transition between students and professional heroes)
Hunter x Hunter (This series will never be finished)

One Piece has become a worldwide phenomenon and is easily the most financially successful series ever to come out of Jump. But even so it can't go on forever, at least not under the same author. Does Jump have enough creative control of the series to keep it going even after Oda? Will we see a transition like Western comic books where multiple writers work on different runs of the comic throughout the years?

I don't think so. I think the age of older main characters has passed and people want younger main characters because they're easier to relate too. High school aged main characters are more popular than adult men now. Think Black Clover and Hero Academia. No one wants to see old muscular men yelling and punching things. They want to see high school teens yelling and punching things. Especially now with the fujobase increasing it's one of the reasons why I believe Toriko wasn't as big as it would have been if it started 10 to 15 years earlier.

I would love it if this happened, it would be something really interesting to see. I wish they did this with Naruto and other completed series like Dragon Ball instead of not doing anything with them. They could even have a whole magazine dedicated to them.

Hey I liked seeing All Might yelling and punching stuff. Seeing as Hero Academia is focused on character development, having the students grow up to being professional Heroes isn't out of the question.

1. Oda specifically stated he doesn't want anyone else to work on One Piece, nor spin off
2. That's why it took SOOOO long for one spin off (One Piece Party manga), and it is coming from one of his old assistant). And that series doesn't even get 1/100 of the One Piece fans
3. Hence there are no other spin off, light novels, etc... The author has to give permission first.

Why AssClass always got high positions on TOC? I never understood the series "appeal" and this got my attention while I looked back at the TOCs.

I don't think Haikyuu will get to that point. With how many chapters there are now, I doubt that it will go past Nationals. It's what the entire series has been building up to until now and it would be lackluster if it happened again.
Hero Academia will probably end with an epilogue chapter. It is called Hero Academia after all, so continuing past school would just be strange. Also, Hori said that the story was around 20% done around chapter 82 and we're not even done with the first year at chapter 127.
Same with Shokugeki, it will probably just have an epilogue. I doubt it will go past even its second year with how it's sales and rankings are going.
Neverland is more of a shot in the dark because of how early we are in the story. I would like the characters to stay as kids, but I wouldn't be surprised if there was a timeskip to being young adults.
Black Clover, well, that's just an amalgamation of all things cliche so the chance of Asta even just developing as a character is out of the question.
EDIT: About Hinomaru, I don't think this one is getting axed. Otherwise it would have been gone a year or more ago. It seems like this one is given a chance to have a natural ending.

As someone who recently read all the way through Assassination Classroom for the first time, I adored the hell out of it. I'm still confused over the monstrous sales... but I definitely see why it was popular. Such a fun series.

They look to be around that age, although the mad scientist looks more like a 15 year old.

same thing as One Piece, it got rank 6 on its 2nd chapter, the rest of its run never go below top 4. Jump also wants to push it. It's the only series beside One Piece that has 300,000 1st print.

Its "appeal" is probably Koro Sensei.

If I remember correctly, when it ended, there is a small drop in magazine circulation (meaning there are people bought the magazine to read it!!)

I don't think it will either but if both sides are interested Haikyu could go on.

Appreciate that you expanded on my thoughts when it comes to those two but unlike Shokugeki I feel Academia is a series that could carry on even after its conclusion but it could also be just another Toriko.

It isn't about character development just look at the example the original poster who started this topic made.

Kawada could wrap it up naturally but I would still see it as an axe since the manga will never reach the heights I believe it could have reached.(emphasis on I)

It's a fun series that hits home with the average japanese middle-high schooler. Your boring class suddenly becomes a life or death situation with an alien-like creature threatening to destroy the planet whilst teaching you life lessions! That's a banger right there.

I didn't really care for the 1/3rd of the series, but after that, specially in the end portion, it was amazing.
