Jump really is pushing Dr.Stone. Dont think its good thing. The manga dont have many twitter followers. And it dont sell that good. BHA was bigger than it in volume 1.

He is mostly funny, it is not the first perverted who appears in mangas, I don't remember anything that he did that wasn't already done before so I don't know why the annoyance towards him in particular. Unless you hate all perverted, then it will make sense.
Honestly, Mineta just makes me cringe, and not in a good or funny way. I'm not really a fan of perverted side characters, but Mineta makes it 10x worse. Doesn't help that he looks plain stupid (and don't even get me started on his toilet bowl of a costume)

Brock made that perverted, womanizer trope character endearing and funny. Mineta took that stuff next level. His uselessness is my bigger problem but everyone in the fandom seems to hate dude

since I started talking about Tabata's assistants, he have another assistant working in Jump, he's the guy that wrote the shogi manga in Jump Giga

it was one of 3 miniseries that will get a volume release (Kei Monri's manga will not get a volume, take that as you will)

speaking of which, have they ever reveal when will they actually release Giga volumes?
we know the Jump release schedule until November and no Giga releases were revealed iirc
Kei Monri really took a step back, major disappointment in his Giga work.

The GFC already looks a lot better than last two years. Jekyll could be big, and I hope some get scanned so I can share it with my brothers.

By the way, how are the new series in Jump Plus?

By the way, how are the new series in Jump Plus?
Aisareru yori sa retai: depressing edgy romance set in school, didn't really care for it
Backstreet Bunch: old geezers battle manga lol, I kinda dig it, the mc girl is cute
Mone-san no Majime Sugiru Tsukiaikata: borderline ****** manga, not really my cup of tea
Comics: Mancolo : generic survival game manga, the only unique thing is the mc is a mangaka
High Risk Mission Therapy : some chick need her boobs to be grabbed because she's really sick. so yeah...you either gonna like it or you're gonna hate it
Slime Life: short gag manga, imagine if Vamirio and Piwi from Helck got their own spinoff, it's a pretty light hearted cute fun
Saguri-chan tankentai: Dagshikashi with exploring, girl with passion for x drags a boy with her in her adventure, also a pretty light hearted cute fun
Mieppari syndrom: short gag manga, only one chapter out and there wasn't anything that stands out in it
Ohjiyama-sama's school: dark gorey comedy with a lot of what can I only assume is Japanese web'-in-jokes and memes, if you can look ignore the ridiculous gore and memes maybe you can enjoy it

I'm looking for the reason he is 10x worse because I've never seen him doing anything that atrocious, anything that other characters didn't do already, so why? I'm indifferent, really, he barely appears anyway.

He's basically a pervert with no good points, and his one "good scene" is pretty forgettable. The only Mineta joke that I found funny was the one where everyone ignored his room during the room tour.

I would very much like it to crack a million-seller
Make Boku no Hero appear on that TV show that recommended Neverland and Stone. In fact, it would be better to Jump pay them to make a special on all the magazine titles. I bet even Zumou would be in the 500k now. :p

Anyway, I read that the editorial department has changed, is that right? Maybe that explains the last two weeks. I mean, cover for Stone and Robot, why? In the past, a CP was enough for series with less than 50 chapters. What made the editors so generous? Haikyuu so low is also weird. Suspicious :hmm

I think they're trying to promote those two because they're probably the more popular of the 3/6 that survived.

It technically did appear but for a brief second also cracking a million is pretty much an abnormality than something you are granted through endless promotion hell most mangaka dream to even getting 500k per volume. You just need that hook but at the same time a lot has changed in the manga industry within the last decade as digital is slowly becoming a stable for tankabon purchases over print trade the the problem is that we don't know those numbers yet and if we do we would have an idea about how things are doing on that platform to say that its a competitor.

You are correct they've have a new editor in chief since August which more or less explains why the TOC has been so weird the past two weeks with them pushing new titles to the front as hard as they are and the declaration that Black Clover is the new Naruto because they really need another big hit with everything from the last decade gone or nearing completion. Call it desperation or whatever but given that the last round had 3/6 titles make it past the cutting block with good sales its best to make the train keep moving.

Well, they are getting some popularity otherwise they wouldn't have all this mercy and generosity, so I don't think it is only pushing.

We don't know how much of that popularity is genuine or Shueisha pushing. Robot, as much as I like it, is all Shueisha pushing hence why it got a big print run from out the gate and was advertised on billboards when it was only a few chapters in to grab the Kuroko fujoshis and also bare in mind that no sports manga has done as well as it before their respective anime outside say Tsubasa and Slam Dunk so yeah lots of outside factors at work. Dr. Stone was also on Ame Talk before it's first volume released which once again doesn't happen often since success stories such as MHA and TPN never had that sort of promotion until after it was proven to be a huge success. WNL seems to be the only one that hasn't been effected by Shuiesha's meddling (though its ranking is another story) first volume sold within the realm of expectations and it didn't have any outside venues to promote it like Robot and Dr. Stone so it found a niche by itself. Kimetsu really came from the bottom and did not sell well initially but thanks to word of the mouth and the blessing of Togashi it grew to its position now so it very much deserved it.

You should go right to the point and say it is jealousy because Kimetsu no Yaiba didn't receive the same treatment. XD
As long as they don't disrupt the success of other series (We Never Learn), I'm fine with it, I like RxL and I really don't care what happens with Dr.Stone.

Pretty sure anybody would be pissed off if one series got a push over the other because it had more marketing potential it would have saved us a lot of time and energy straggling about when all it needed was a bit more advertisement. And now I worry for the fate of Zumo because that series mainly survived by the ediotrial department liking it and now that its changed there isn't much of a reason to keep it alive if its sales doesn't improve.

Yes yes we already know you don't care about anything but WNL.

HZ is safe. Jump shouldn't expect it's sales to increase by doing the same thing as always. Kawada wouldn't have been allowed to start a 'Part 2' if they weren't going to keep it around for the foreseeable future.

Damn, I forgot there was a new EoC! I'm not in denial that japs just might not fuck with the Red Riot chapters but even all of us are saying the ToC just looks odd the last two weeks, not even just MHA's placing. How many issues has it been since the new one took over?
