That's what I was saying. Bones staff literally said they wanna adapt the series in its entirety. It was never if but when. I just wonder how long it'll be.

I assume it would be mentioned in Jump if it was being announced in the last episode, so I'm not surprised. I didn't doubt a S3 in future, but it's always good to know that it's on the way right as S2 ends.

In fact, when contract for 1st season was signed, a another contract was already signed for 2nd and 3rd season. I guess, Yonkou get info from Viz or someone worked with them.

If news came from Jump #45, logicaly, 2ch guy was said yesterday when he write tocs, but he said nothing. For that, i think news dont came from Jump #45.

Let's say the finale ends on Chapter 69. S2 started halfway thru on Chapter 21. So about 49 chapters were adapted. If it was a two cour again and we're using the same amount of chapters adapted then that would take us around the provisional license arc. But would Bones want to end the season there? Or would closer to Overhaul's introduction make more sense?

The 2ch thread was saying it was about ping pong.

Or would closer to Overhaul's introduction make more sense?

Another 50 chapters would take right to the climax of Bakugou's arc. That'd be the best place to stop without getting dragged into the internship and tthe new cast.

If they blow the budget for next season, a 13-episode cour sounds more likely. If they still have spare budget, they could go all the way to the license exams, but there is a risk of a dip in quality since they likely would allocate a lot of their resources for the first course.

If they try to top sports festival's quality for next arc, I can just see Wakana-san having a real strong shot of alcohol after approving the budget.

in the last 3 serlization rounds we got 1 sport manga each (Shoodan, RxL, Golazo)
as the olympics gets closer I expect Jump to push more sport manga

This is the best use of a cover to promote an anime I've seen. Making Asta and Yuno monochromatic so your eye is more drawn to the anime snip-its in the corner.

Hopefully BLack Clover gets the multi season adaptation like HeroAca and Haikyuu!! and Food Wars.

This isn't the thread to discuss this but budget is almost irrelevant to quality. Its possible that there was a bigger budget compared to season 1 but season 3 will most probably have around the same amount. The allotment will be key. Personally, I want to see a good amount of Nakamura cuts especially at that moment. Their best bet will be to end right before the start of the second semester. That takes them to the beginning of volume 14. There is also a huge potential to expand the license exam with original content to cover more of the schools and students. They could very well spend half a cour just on this exam and do Deku vs Bakugou fight in 2 episodes.
