I know that Black Clover isn't a good series by any decent standard of storytelling. It's just a bog standard shonen manga, forgettable in any other situation. But out of all the series jump has attempted to push so far, such as Toriko, MHA, World Trigger, OP or what have you, it has the biggest disconnect between its overall quality and the amount of attention it receives from Jump's editorial team. Which is starting to make me wonder if Tabata is in someway connected to the higher ups working for the magazine. Thus generating backlash from people who follow stuff like the TOC and adding even more criticism than it would normally receive.

Well, think of it like Yo-kai Watch, it got an anime series for its marketing potential, and it will be the same for this. As I said before, the series at least entertains children, but besides that, it bores anyone who has read a lot of shonen series. It´s easier than you think to see how it got an anime.

Wow, MHA's numbers dropped a fair amount since the last volume. Makes me sad. I hope this doesn't become a trend.

I'm pretty sure the reason it dropped for that chapter is because, as it's name suggested, it was a meaningless fight that Horikishi didn't need to make since it kind of goes against Bakugou's character in a way.

That fight isn't in volume 12, not that I agree because I actually liked that fight. I will say that volume 12 is the weakest volume so maybe that could be it.

I keep saying this, but you really have to wonder if it would've made a huge difference if the anime had gone all the way to Ch. 59 last season. If it had, I would dare say that we wouldn't be seeing this downward trend and instead had a stable fanbase and sales.

As much as I hope it would've improved it I get the feeling that it would probably be the same as is now. That being said Black Clover my benefit more from it's anime then MHA did because Black Clover reads like a set of storyboards for an anime

No, but you can bet your ass/manga collection/whatever they definitely will. I'll be surprised if they don't.

It's normal after the anime ending the sales numbers to drop. Same happened to well received anime like Nanatsu and Shingeki no Kyojin.

Did Perriot announce that it's going to be a long running?

If they do the same they did with Kuroko and Haikyuu, they'll intercalate MHA and BC anime. MHA start this semester and BC should start later this year.

What do you mean by this? And your examples? And do you think is a bad studio for having bad series like other mind-blinded people?
