It won't be the most popular anime of spring but I don't see why anyone who enjoyed S1 wouldn't watch S2 because of Titan

It'll be interesting to see if AoT can sustain its hold on its audience considering the second season is coming 4 years after the first and a lot has happened with the series since then and its not like Spring 2017 season is slouching in any regard. If any case the Junior High Spin-off has already spoiled a huge plot point in the manga years ago ironically enough. I'm personally just waiting for another production disaster like the first season.

Everyone begs for a remake of Shaman King, but it´s not like it has a complex story(FMA) or universe(HunterxHunter) to begin with. It´s a battle royale mostly. The only thing the remake could do is please the fans. Now that I think it, the battle royale conccept probably wouldn´t sit much well with people today as it did at the time(there are like 10 or so Battle Royale anime series I guess, as a sample of the lack of popularity of the concept), so that would mean that the series is cancelled without much capters, and thus it was a failed remake. Not that I say that I don´t like it. I want the remake too, but is it only me who thinks this?

If there was a remake the smartest thing to do would be to make it with fans in mind much like the recent Ushio to Tora remake which was done to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the manga rather than to bring new fans into it and to a lesser extent Sailor Moon Crystal which was just made so Toei could retain the license and to sell new Sailor Moon merchandise but the anime itself could only be enjoyed by hardcore fans of the manga. If there was a remake Shueisha would have probably wanted it to be the same as HxH 2011 and Jojo in which its made to bring new fans in and not just established fans though I doubt it would have been successful with that kind of thinking because lets face it the manga is just one large tournament arc with an anti-climatic ending and its appeal is cemented within the 00's era of Jump before "is this a Jojo reference" became a topic of conversation and where battle shounen was something people anticipated rather than dread however I would rather a Shaman King remake than a remake of Reborn, Bo^7, DGM or most manga from that era of Jump.

I get more and more into Kimetsu no Yaiba with each chapter. I love the main trio so much.

Not much, when all is said it done while Shaman King was big back then most of its fans have moved on and it wasn't exactly a merchandising juggernaut to keep people invested through the years with no new anime or as of now no new manga. 2009 would have probably been the best time for the reboot with the release of the Kazeban ending, the pilot to Shaman King Flowers, the Remix Chapters and Shaman King Zero all coinciding with one another just to keep people interested.
Wouldn't it still do really well? It never got the best adaptation and the manga was a big seller. I'd thought it'd attract more fans (including old ones) if it got one. How many endings/spin offs are there? Lol.

Ushio To Tora was successful? It didn't sell that much? HxH 2011 wasnt that successful.

It was for the manga

2012 Hunter x Hunter reached 3.4 million sale with one volume released (vol 30). Vol 30 only sold about 1 million copies. Meaning there are ~2.4 million backlog sale.
2013 Hunter x Hunter reached 4.2 million sale with two volumes released (31,32). Both volumes sold about ~1 million copies. There are another ~2.2 million backlog sale.

It largely depends on how its marketed unlike Jojo Shaman King lost a good portion of its fanbase towards the end of its run and those who grew up with it never followed it to Flowers though the manga was the highest selling manga from the ill fated Jump Kai's lineup back then so if Takei didn't shelve it so early it might have caught on to the point where they would have animated it. Yeah 2008 through 2011 were a great time for Shaman King fans with the release of the Kazebans they gave us new chapters, a brand new ending then Shaman King Zero which was a series of short prequel stories and finally its sequel Flowers, that was the best time to make a new anime but now? Well if Takei comes back to continue Flowers it'll renew interest again.

Ushio To Tora was successful? It didn't sell that much? HxH 2011 wasnt that successful.
I didn't say it was successful but it was made to coincide with the 25th anniversary of the manga and it was a series that the president of MAPPA wanted to be done (along with Shaman King) and had the author working on scripts, it was never made with hopes of bringing in new fans but to give old ones a complete adaptation. HxH 2011 brought a big boost to manga sales, had good merchandise sales and two successful theatrical movies, ratings wise I couldn't tell you if it did well enough for NTV (it was frequently in the top 10 percentile every week) since they were quick to move it to late night when they reached the Chimera Ant arc which may or may not be due to the excessive violence that arc had and it ended due to not having ANY material to adapt not because it was doing badly. Overall HxH 2011 did very well for itself.

Yeah, they are very popular on the cancelation magazine.

AoT will sell gazillions again. When the first season aired it almost beat One Piece and OP did not have one pause per moth like nowadays. It's possible that it can outsell One Piece. It will be for the first time in years, right? A decade mabybe?

The only problem of the manga is clearly the art (in my opinion)... And the juggernaut animation of Wit Studio (Production IG) fixed it marvelously.

Wasn't one of the HxH movies a flop? (forgot the title)...It wasn't the frequent were it made the top 10 iirc. Also, HxH was already selling well prior to the anime so yeah backlogs were bound to be high. I remember the sales being bad, even for a long runner.

I always saw HxH 2011 as a great adaptation but never did well success wise.

So the Shaman King reboot did get turned down for those reasons...I wonder how much it would've sold if it got one.
It should sell AT LEAST more than Ushio to Tora.

Shaman King was alright and had a pretty bad final arc. Y'all romanticizing.
