That's Neverland and Kimetsu's second reprint (third printing) right? Awesome if so. Great to see Kimetsu's new volume selling quite well. Looks like it got around 40k.

I'm not so sure about that, Neverland is more popular and it sold "only" 40k in 3 days
Still, anything over 30k is decent because it's only 3 days of sales

When you hear the phrase: "I want to become ________ in order to get stronger", or when you see a character that is waaaaaaay too determinated to accomplish something in a shonen series, what´s the first thing that comes to your mind? And which is your opinion about these tropes? Are they too cliche now? Or do they accomplish a purpose?

God, I love Neverland and KnY, so seeing them both succeed is a great feeling. KnY wasn't immediately as popular as Neverland, but it's slowly but surely increasing in popularity every volume so far.

For me, i don't find those things too cliche since i am the one intruding their territory (shonen magazine), if i want something different i go other territories like seinen magazine.

I don't have a problem with that trope nor do I find it cliche, so long as the character is written well (this means limited plot armor or out of no where power-ups) then there really isn't a problem to me.

Pretty sure those are bigger than most of Zumo reprints
