Excuse me, can you tell me the code to put spoilers here? I can´t find the button or code to do so.

I´ll post this as non-spoiler meanwhile. But it´s about U19. I read chapter 8. The master plan of the main villain, Shiki Yamato, is to procreate A-grade children by Marrying A-grade and above students, with others A-grade and above students. This is why they took Akari, Eiji´s girlfriend, who has the SS grade. But Shiki wants these teens, and their children to(and I´m not making this up) create smart people that can avenge the country by fighting against USA in a 3rd World War, as a revenge for what happened to Japan in World War 2.

What do you think about this... ah, umh, "plot twist"?
It's under the plus button when you're making a post, or just use a
tag
without the spaces.

What oneshots are you guys interested in seeing serialized? For me, I want to see Golem Heart: all around solid one shot that established it's setting and main characters goal well.
Galaxy Gangs: I liked the art style and the idea of a battle shounen Space Dandy. Also Moue's last author comment made me sad ;_;
Kempa Trick: from the color page and the art I saw skimming through the raws I think it looked pretty decent.

Speaking of Kempa Trick, why hasn't Jump tried making a sports only magazine? It could even be an online serialization to save money. Sports manga is one of the highest selling genres, so its not like there isn't demand. Also I just want a reason for Kempa Truck and more shounen sports manga to be serialized and hopefully scanlated.

Zippo, Kempa Trick, Golem Hearts was nice, might as well serialize Outgear Full Color.

I think Mammo is right about The Map
It was really pretty enjoyable. Just need to refine the art, while maintaining his style.

Arcadia of the Moonlight from a couple weeks back. Don't know why but really enjoyed it. Nice art and world.

I'm late but this was a great week to be a MHA fan, my eyes were blessed with everything I watched and read (chapter, anime, light novel, ova)

Golem Hearts has like 2 one shots right? Pretty sure he wants that to be a series but you never know. The guys that did Poro and Ole Golazo didn't do their Golden Cup entrys

Just finished reading the cycling oneshot Kumori Climb. Story was a bit jumpy at spots but I thought it was pretty good oneshot. I'm not a huge sports manga fan so three sports series is more than enough for me though, so I wouldn't really want to see it serialized in the near future.

Hinomaru Sumo 127. This is mad hype. I can't wait for a battle manga next. Does anyone know if Kawada's done any other one shots?

I'd rather have more sports manga than gag manga. Right now there's 3 sports manga (one of which is nearing its completion and the other is barely beginning). On the other hand, there are currently 6 gag manga. Almost half of the currently serialized manga is gag comedy.

And they don't sell volumes.

While i would love to see Kawada try for a battle manga, I think he would have to refine his art style a bit. A lot of the characters in Zumou are stocky dudes with wide frames which worked this time because it's sumo. If he goes for a battle manga he would have to cut back on the stockiness of his characters to make them more appealing. Also the girls aren't that attractive, he needs to work on that.

I googled him in Japanese as English sites have no info on him. Seems he got an honorable mention for the Tezuka Award in 2009 with his One Shot "Love and Justice". Apart from that, it's just HZ. Might see if I can find and translate it.

Haven't read or seen the dirt bike one shot, but I'd like to see a cycling series serialized.

I'd like to see The Map serialized.

Can't think of any other one shots off top, but I'd like to see less gags as well, and a few more action/adventure series.
Also, really random but I'd like to see a music series too

Read Soul Catcher(s) if you haven't.

Some kind group should scanlate The Map.

.
a manga about a silver hair swordman that lives in a magic kingdom but can't use magic, gee where have I seen this before?
seriously tho, wsj won't serialize this for obvious reasons

on his twitter account the author said he submitted a diffrent oneshot but it got rejected
he is currently trying to serialize a third manga which is an ecchi manga about big oppai and big butt gyaru that lives in a fantasy world

knowing you, I doubt you will be interested in that

What oneshots are you guys interested in seeing serialized?
Akage no Achoo: good mma manga, with a lot of romcom and heart warming moments, it fill the hole that Ranma left in my heart better than Hungry Marie ever could
the author did a different karate oneshot in Giga last year so I hope this isn't dead
Dondohare: Yokai battle manga with lovable cast and charming artstyle, why not serialize it?
Yuasutorenja: Good replacement for Gintama, aliens and nonhuman cast are always interesting
Million Kingdom: another non human protagonist this time a robot, this could be this generation Astro Boy
Tenjou no All-wand: reverse isekai written by one of Horikoshi's assistants, what's not to like?
Anything by Shuuhei Tanizaki (Aratamejuu no buki shokunin - Noroi noroi no banpei - Kaijuu no Buki Shokunin) are all good

also you didn't think I forgot did you? I still want my car racing manga with super powers

Hoshikusu wanderer is more like Mad Max than the Mario Kart clone I wanted

but hey, it's an action cars manga by UBS dude, I'll will take that any day

As far as I know the award he got is one that they just announce the winners and don't publish the oneshots. They've got the winners of the Treasure award on their site back through like 2007, but that isn't the one he won so I don't think you'll be able to find it anywhere.
He apparently did one oneshot in Morning and two in Morning Two (heh) though, maybe you could find old issues of those if you really want.

Not really exactly music, but CAN I GET MY DAMN BREAKDANCING MANGA?
I think there was a manga called "Dragon Voice" that had breakdancing in it. It was from a Kodansha magazine, if I'm right.

What do you think about this... ah, umh, "plot twist"?
Honestly, I actually like the idea behind this(and it's not because I'm german, it's more because I'm weird person). The movie The Crimson Rivers with Jean Reno had a similiar idea behind its plot. BUT I dont need to read all the other chapters of U19 before this(I've read the first 2 when they came out), to know that the Mangaka won't pull this through. It's a complicated idea, and in a manga, which is about teenagers rebelling against "ze evil adultz", none of the maincharacters will probably be "that" old in the story, therefore this whole idea won't show any results anyway. It's a wasted idea, which someone already said before me, feels like it as if it only exist for shock value, because "superior genes", "Übermensch" and "revenge on the vile americans".
TL;TR: The "plot-twist" has potential, but it's undoubtedly that the idea is wasted on this manga and mostly exist for shock value.
