He places characters in front of a picture of the current villain, it happens a lot and he should just put the villain on the cover or make something more harmonic.

Currently in the magazine I think Neverland and One Piece have the best covers.

One of the funnest arcs
I was talking about a cover pattern, not a specific cover. See it as a chance to redeem yourself. I will ignore this post. XD

I prefer ones that just focus on a single character or maybe 2 sort of clashing. When theres anymore things just get convoluted. One Piece ones has way too much going on for my liking. A simple portrait of character with a background is always nice like OPM does. MHA 6, 9 and 10 are perfect examples of having something going on in the cover, but still keeping it simple. Its weird MHA has some awesome and some freaking terrible covers.

I find kubo or tadahiro style the best. It features one character.

Bleach one's were really good before Kubo adopted the single colour wash for the final arc. The colour wash made the covers really hit or miss but I enjoy the single character covers. I personally think Kubo's shading style for the Fullbring covers are his best work.

World Trigger's are also good in that regard even though technically there are multiple characters on the cover but they aren't prominent and don't overshadow the focus of the one character on display.

Nurarihyon no Mago is one of the greatest patterns, that's for sure. It is sad that Hiroshi Shiibashi hasn't been able to find another success because he shows his mastery towards character design during the series.

I agree with @savethecat , the best one's currently are The Promised Neverland and One Piece. I would add Shokugeki no Soma as well, all of them are perfect.
The best of all I've seen... It is hard, I have to see many of them to recollect how they look like.

My favourites are Bleach, Assassination Classroom's. I appreciate uniform in the covers. Saiki Kusuo's covers are fun too. I also agree with Scruffy in that I find One Piece's covers a bit too jam-packed.

I really like AssClass' volume covers. The different expressions of Korosensei make them great. Part of the love comes from the fact I find it amusing that Matsui makes these simple covers, while all other mangaka put a lot of work into theirs.

I also like World Trigger's volume covers, as well as some Hero Academia ones like 12. They're pretty hit or miss though.

Yeah, I agree with the other ones-
A simple cover is more pleasing.
Concentrating on one character has a nice feel to it. Maybe it doesnt look THAT exciting, but presenting the character right, and they can look quite cool & of course, you'll expect something interesting to happen with the character on the cover in the volume.
Bleach & World Trigger are good examples for these! Though, not a fan of Assassination Classroom's covers, it is very effective & iconic(I guess, I'm just not a big fan of Koro-Senseis face).
Black Clover have a few nice volume covers I enjoy(the one with Yami the most), but I also enjoy several covers of My Hero Academia. But in this case, it's different, bc here I like the volume covers which are clearly Superhero-comic hommages/references(don't know how to call them). For example, I mean the one with Deku / Ida versus Stain in the background, or the one where Deku fights Muscle, who shattered the actual background. That looked rad!
I also really like One Piece's covers, bc they're bright & colorfull. That is just nice! Though sometimes they're too full and there are too many things on the cover, but still.

Naruto and Dragon Ball also had a lot of really great covers imo.

I have quite the soft spot for Naruto's covers because they tend to be the most balanced out of all Jump's lineup. Kishi keeps his covers fairly simple, but with enough content on the cover to tell us the volume's contents.

I love the covers of Masaru-san, Jaguar and Tabelu. Usuta sensei is definitely my favorite in terms of covers.
The only AssClass cover I like is the first one, the rest are so boring.

Everything but the rain is the the best bleach cover tbh.
And the problem with fullbring is obviously that it is bleach if it was a new series the feedback would have been more positive
