It sucks that so much of that great color page is wasted on the volume cover. That rugged stone texture was a horrible decision. It would have been better if the stone texture was just on the Dr. STONE text itself, and not the area surrounding it. Could have been a really cool cover.

WNL is starting to get old already despite having a pretty strong start. I find myself only caring for Takemoto, and even then she's not that great a character. It needs more girls, and good ones at that. A good harem has good enough characters that even if you don't care for them, you can still enjoy their interactions.

They need the 3rd girl to partake in the harem. She's playing matchmaker for some reason and it's causing her to fall way behind (although it's funny it's not what we're here for). I think the full blown harem isn't fitting for this series but focusing on just Takemoto and Ogata isn't fair to Furuhashi either. She's legit only had one focus chapter. Not sure if more girls is the answer but I agree Takemoto is best girl but I like all 3 of them.

I think the author is trying to develop the girls with small arcs than with one chapter for one and then another chapter for another one and so on, that's why it feels like Ogata disappeared in recent chapters, but Naruyuki still has to solve Ogata's problem with her scores. Now that this problem is solved on Takemoto side, I think the next chapter will focus on Ogata.
I have mixed feelings about Furuhashi, I think she could be a good matchmaker because she understand feelings very well, so it is funny.

I'm fine with the guy introducing more girls because so far they've been enjoyable. I hope the teacher at least gets some screen time.
Also, I for one enjoy Furuhashis ever changing hairstyles, mini twintails one is best.

They usually don't change the design pattern of the covers that often so expect bad covers throughout the series.

I hope people don't start bringing that up if they see Dr.Stone isn't selling as well as they expected. I doubt the Japanese audience even cares and I've seen worse.

Covers are an important thing, otherwise Japanese publishers wouldn't put so much effort into them. A good cover can make the sales go up a little bit, principally for people who don't buy the magazine and see the manga on the bookstore, it is the first invitation card for many people in a market huge like manga market in Japan. I'm doing this very often with Volume Cover Thread here and Amazon, I pick what interests me more from the cover, I don't have time to read all series that appears in front of me, it is too much, all the more to Japanese readers.

I don't believe so, but I'm not as familiar as I'd like to be with pre 90s Jump.

Horikoshi. He has my favourite art style in all of Jump at the moment. Although, we've already seen his Luffy. His Goku for the Dragon Ball Anime 30th looked good as well.

If moving to Ultra Jump for the remake counts that's pretty much what happened with Jumbor. Can't say for anything before the 90s either though.
