Demizu has to draw TPN quickly to fit into a tight weekly schedule. Demizu's other artwork doesn't have the same kind of time restraints.

This is a really stupid complaint. Like, of course art you can take your time on looks better than art you have to rush out.

Yeah... People here really don't get tired of distorting what people say... I'm talking about its creativity, TPN doesn't have much scenarios where Posuka Demizu can use all her creativity like she uses in other places like in her arts for artbooks. It is not about whether she draws well or not in the magazine, I never said anything about, it is about the story limitation itself. It hasn't been a story where she can uses all her creativity SO FAR (responding Caiops it seemed to have understood that I was talking as if TPN will never be good for creativity, maybe it will be, but not so far.).
Of course it will sound stupid when you don't understand what I'm saying.

Her artbook is amazing but I challenge you to actually come up with context for literally anything in there. The entire point is that they're more "creative" because they don't have to follow a coherent plot. If you just throw whatever you want into a series because "it looks cool" then people will lose interest because the point of TPN is to tell a story.

Of course it will sound stupid when you don't understand what I'm saying.
Given how often this happens, maybe you should just explain your arguments better in the first place.

You know that they are in a fantastic world, right? It is not that hard to include well drawn monsters without losing any balance and I'm sure the story will have more monsters from now on, they are going in an adventure, finally, after staying stuck in a shelter for, like, 10 or 20 chapters, I lost my count. It is not her fault, it is the writer's "fault", I'm sure she will live up to the expectations once the story allows her to put her creativity to use. I'm looking forward to it. It only depends on the writer wiliness, I hope he doesn't invent that the world they are in is a wasteland just full of demons (even among demons there must be other species, so a bit of creativity will be used) and without other monsters... By what they said about the world so far, I don't think it is the case. So, let's wait...

My point was very clear since the beginning although some people tried to divert the attention to other things by attacking me instead of the arguments. And I don't like your tone, specially when you have a status in the community where neutrality is expected.

Time restraints would also directly effect creativity, though. You make something too creative and/or visually crazy, it takes longer to draw.

I don't think time is the problem. Posuka only draws, she doesn't need to think about story, dialogues, etc. And she's always posting illustrations on pixiv and twitter. She has time. The problem is that her drawing style and Shirai's writing don't match very well. It's like calling Tim Burton to direct The Sopranos.

Eeeh I think some of you are overthink it. There's nothing wrong with Posuka's and Shirai's matching. The artstyle for Neverland is just fine.

If anything, the art is unquestionably godly. So unique. The story of Neverland... just isn't my kind of thing.

Everybody shut up and lets talk about best girl
who and where is this from?

checking out Jump Plus

I was wrong about Summertime Render, it isn't a Battle Royale ripoff, it's All You Need is Kill ripoff

meanwhile penises, penises everywhere in The Little Prince, never change Man☆Gatarou never change

TRIGGERED! XD
Man, you don't get tired of putting words in my mouth? The story and pacing problem still remains, but it is a fact that The Promised Neverland also don't offer what is needed for Posuka Demizu to show her talent to its max. I hope this new arc gives us more glimpses of fantastic creatures instead of just ugly demons. WHO IS TALKING ABOUT CUTE GIRLS? Sigh... It will be a waste of time responding will any longer.
>post a picture of a cute girl
>WHO IS TALKING ABOUT CUTE GIRLS?

ok, I'll give you a pass, I will assume you meant her art in general and the way she draw fantastical creatures, backgrounds, etc...

my argument still stands, how will this magically make the manga better? having some random nonsense that doesn't fit the story they're trying to tell because "it looks cool" won't make it better, it will make it worse

the art and visuals are here to serve the story not the other way around
writing a story around how you can show cool visuals is how disasters like Zack Snyder are born

if you had to give a comparison for soul hunter to a mainstream or popular show that a casual would know of what would be the closest? These character designs look cool so might have to check this out for myself regardless of the plot

Like Mammo said Magi is pretty much the closest comparison though its a much better more point together manga. Both series are essentially adaptations of classic literature that's a smorgasbord of everything related to it as fanservice.
