Well, there was the lead CP for the popularity poll. But no cover.

BC had 3, WNL had 2, TPN had 2, Hq!! had 2.

The reason it hasn't had a cover recently is because every time it has a lead colour page, it's been a double issue, which means it doesn't get the cover by default.

I always feel like up until recently Hori didn't like to do colors before he switched from digital to analog that's why the series doesn't get a whole lot of color spreads which is a shame since his coloring got exponentially better as it went on. Fujimaki is the same way in which he never did a whole lot of cover and color pages for Kuroko's Basketball while it was running despite its popularity.

You can generally tell what studio it is by the visual since some studios have distinctive styles. I remember when OPM's key visual came out, a lot of people said Bones, I guess they were correct since OPM had a lot of talent from Bones. (not sure if the character designer was a staff member from bones)

We know they're adapting the first 17 volumes so it's guaranteed to be 24-26 episodes.

Unless next volume of BC has done something impressive or the anime animates something big that will get new fans, I sincerely doubt any sort of doubling will happen.

As already mentioned, the growth of Black Clover will be gradual.

Not picking a side but you legit respond to anything about BC that’s not positive. People talking about its sales or the slow growth doesn’t mean they hate it or like it. Regarding quality that’s for whoever reads to decide but sales tend to show people like some things more than other cause it’s being purchased more. Just please don’t make it seem like everyone hates it when some don’t care to talk on it or feel indifferent towards it. That’s all I wanted to say.

Toriko had a better start and did better than Black Clover during it's first 15 volumes.

Toriko's anime started in April 2011. You can see that 3 months later volume 15 got a boost and reached over 300k. It also stayed that way until volume 29.
Black Clover's anime started in Octboer 2017. You can see that 5 months later it got a smaller boost compared to Toriko's. It's still not selling as much as pre-anime Toriko as you can see when you compare Toriko's 13th volume with Black Clover's 15th volume.
Other than that Toriko at it's peak in 2011 sold 4,665,634 volumes, in 2012 it sold 3,005,339, and in 2013 it sold 2,844,248.

Pretty sure Toriko's initial popularity was higher than BC and the boost it got was also higher from the anime. I'd compare BC to something like Beelzebub at the moment in levels of popularity.
Also if I'm not mistaken, Toriko hit it's print number peak within a years time from the anime. 550k or whatever it was.
