In a way, that is a "problem" of several current manga. Neverland and Stone, for example, are also action and action all the time. The 90's gen is very different from the 2010's gen. And Jump knows that. So, if Naruto started now, it would probably also be action, action and action. If Black Clover came out in 1999, it would probably have more breaths.
Nah, Promised Neverland is always keeping the story interesting and engaging (cant really say so for the characters, but that's been improving at least compared to its first 50ish chaps.). I havent read Stone in a couple of chapters I believe it just isn't for me. I dont believe the author has any idea on what type of story he wants to tell.

What do world building and character development have to do with having a sense of energy? Energy is about excitement, always having something going on to engage the reader, stuff like that, the current HxH arc for example has massive amounts of world building and character development but it's pretty lacking in energy since it's all monologues and infodumps.

HxH has thrill factor as well. Even if the info dumps and wall texts are overloaded stuff is really exciting when certain characters and/or factions are on screen putting things in motion.

Neverland can be exciting without action. I think the very idea of trying to escape the farm and get to the promised land can be exciting without demon battles and what not. Since it takes heavy inspiration from popular young adult novels, many have action less arcs that are still highly exciting and engaging.

For me it's hard to be engaging when the characters are superficial.

And when I said "action" I meant events and not necessarily physical battles.

That doesn't make it energy. Learning about how ninja politics and such work in Naruto might be quite interesting and often some of a series' strongest chapters are the bits between arcs just focusing on how the characters are getting along, showing their normal daily lives for a bit, but it has nothing to do with how much energy the series has.

Just look at iyashikei stuff like Flying Witch or Mushishi, they've both got pretty strong characters or worlds to them but you could hardly say they've got a lot of energy and that's exactly why they fun to watch.

On the opposite site, Red Sprite was another series that was constant high energy with stuff always going on and it suffered heavily because of it, because it put so much focus on having that energy that it ignored the build up that gives the energy meaning.

About the worldbuilding talk, I prefer it when it's done through good action and good interaction, not just walltext.

I want Murata to clone himself and draw whatever in WSJ. ANYTHING.
Then Oda to clone himself for 15 One Piece chapters/week.

15 + 1 + 1 for TPN and Tadahiro can stay. 18 "series" in Weekly Shounen Jump. :hiThe rest can move to Jump Plus

Something like Dorabase (Doraemon spin off baseball with superpower), or a dodge ball manga with super power (like that one kid dodge ball manga/anime).

Space Battle manga.
(Obata, Murata and Yabuki would be great mangakas to do that.
But they are busy with other series).
A new gag manga by Kenta Shinohara.

Be careful, the word "space" is a taboo here.

Manga sales > 350K a volume. People consider it a flop.

Stop.
Black Clover does not sell 350k copies per volume. It sells at most 300k between one volume and another, at best. I know you like Black Clover very much, but you exaggerate a lot. I recommend stopping a little with this.
