this is just for 1 store at the moment (more soon(ish)tm ) but there are rankings for digital sales just not combined into the same place to actually make sense.

don't bother looking at other categories if you only care about shounen

if you are only looking for shonen jump series

It's nice that you're able to get some list, even if it doesn't show any number.
I'll comment after you are able to get more.

One Punch Man doesn't have any chapters available (have to buy the volumes to read it) I wonder if we lost the simulpub of that.

I'll be doing them periodically and try to get them done by this week (hopefully, rakuten is going to take a while since that list is huuuge)

This massive kimetsu backlog to get through, help. Guess ill do three chapters a day or something, same with Act-Age, though it seemed easier to just jump to current with that. Kimetsu seems like itd be a spoiler to just jump in at current I guess.

Seems like the new version of the android app doesn't work on kindle fires (judging from personal experience and app reviews). I really hope they update it, the old app worked perfectly fine.

Hell Warden Higuma is manga perfection, like all of Higuma's different tools for his exorcisms, the artwork, the personality and his character design, and even the plot. this definitely needs to stay. Not as epic and awesome as neo;lation but it is definitely a series Id buy both the manga and the anime for.

Neo;lation needed me to turn off my brain to be entertaining. The MC is irritating to say the least but besides that its decent. Chainsawman has the most unique atmosphere out of the three new series but Higuma is decent as well. I think I can make a better judgement once all of them release 3 chapters. Still, I'm getting tired of these exorcist/demon hunter series in Jump recenty. I know the editors will basically let anything through, letting the questionnaires and whatnot weed out the series, but they're really pushing these through. My personal hope is that David gets some push as well as that is just incredible. The start was weak but now its great.

neo;lation 2 was hilarious, like One is so cool and so funny turning the tables on the gang leaders. Dont know how people need to turn their brain off to find this as the funniest thing around. Its just so good.

My rank would be Neo;lation, then Higuma, then chainsawman, its still unclear whether it even has a clearly identifiable goal in mind.

also yes finally some pixiv arts for it ^_^

Chainsaw man chapter 3 was good. Denji is such a lovable dork and I'm really liking the other characters so far.

chp3 was finally the first good chainsaw man chapter, Hayakawa was just what the series needed.

David is the best new manga of 2018 for me, simply because of this page.

hahaha love it. One of my favorites along Act-Age

Not impressed with Higuma, it seems way too plain, like it's purely chasing the trends rather than having anything interesting to add to it.

On viz news, someone wrote in to ask and it seems like they've officially stopped supported their app on Kindle Fire which is disappointing.

I'm sorry to hear that you won't be able to use it on your Kindle from now on, tirakai. :"(

Chainsawman is such a fresh, unpredictable story right now and I love it. The character relationships are genuine feeling.

Neolation just feels like the MC is flexing his hacker skills too hard, and that's the only reason bad guys exist, is to show off his skills. Good execution, however.

Higuma had cool battle concepts and a nice chill MC. If we could work in some emotional stories in there (chapter 1, despite it trying, felt a little dry) it could be really good.

That anime beans vertical anime app will apparently launches worldwide tomorrow, and one of the 10 english subbed shows on it is Karada Sagashi's anime adaptation (the Jump+ series).

I've been pretty curious to see what that's like (and also how vertical anime works).

I'm currently listening to Viz's podcast and it seems for Haikyu and Demon Slayer they won't be playing "catch up" but just putting them in the vault as the volume releases (the they release every 2 months so basically we would get 10 backlog chapters every 2nd month).

That makes sense I suppose, they got pretty far with Haikyuu before the change but it and Kimetsu are both a bit too far ahead to rush to catch up and are already releasing volumes.

Did they mention anything about their catch-up plans for Jujutsu and Act-age? Like how often they'll probably release older chapters, and if it's just going to be released in order if they'll also go backwards from the current chapter?

It's great to have them available legally but there's still a bunch of chapters for each with no English version available at all, and I imagine very few people will just skip ahead to read the new chapters.
