It is said that it was already announced in the end of last year, but I'm gonna post here anyway because the arts are good. New one-shot is coming by Shiibashi.
I miss NuraMago...

I wouldn't complain if Shiibashi had another chance, principally with the basic push pack, his art is better than half of the magazine.

PV for Noah's Notes

This one is a lot more colorful than Jujutsu Kaisen
Yooooo I love this. Gyuudon always impresses me. He needs to keep making PVs like this for new Jump series.
This needs to be standard for all new series imo. (Just to satisfy me)

I think Lafin made the music for this too. The Gyuudon x Lafin duo really spearheading the Shueisha PV wave.
He made one of my favorite tunes ever, and it was for a 30 second long commercial. The commercial music was so good that people started making guitar covers for it, lmao. (Referring to another CM they made)

Wasn't Soma, HQ part of JUMP Next generation or something like that?
The next generation promotion was Nisekoi, AssClass, Hq and Soma

I remember Saiki Kusou mangaka being salty af :XD

It was Nisekoi, Assclass and HQ.
Soma was promoted with World Trigger(and maybe Issobe?) if I remember well.

Shueisha is a company like any other. They're just trying to sell their products giving exposure and doing publicity, nothing else.

There's no question that it can give new series more chance of survival if they start doing it for every new series and, principally, start to make people aware of their YouTube channel. I forgot they had one. It was about time, Japanese publishers are really slow to catch up to the trends. YouTube era is here for years already.

Noah's Note 1 was a mixed bag. I dont think the femchar adds anything and actually ends up being a huge distraction because of her dislike and aversion to history. Noah is on the old side and comes off as unlikeable.

It also took forever to introduce the plot, which should have been hinted and introduced much earlier than the final few pages.

Hungry Joker did a better job of mixing history and science than Noah Notes is doing.

However, will keep reading for the near apolcalypse setting.

Im pretty happy with Noah’s Notes first chapter. Some good characterisation between the duo, decent world building and pacing, and it set the scene for what’s to come. Generally all things that most cancel fodder lack. First chapter wasn’t too slow or fast either, it was what a first chapter should be. It feels like the kind of thing that will be a success to me, or at least make it past a few cancellation rounds. Possibly the first chapter ive enjoyed the most since Dr Stone, and maybe even Neverland. Don’t want to get too gung-ho, but I liked it. The characters themselves are my only real issue. Whether the whole Gal sidekick thing ends up being good or not remains to be seen, and I hope the Archaeologist isn’t as one-sided as he came across in this chapter. It worked for now, but may not long-term.

Jujutsu on the other hand had a better 2nd chapter, but the pacing is still screwed. This should have been in chapter one. The world and characters still feel lifeless. And the whole “one person in ten thousand” just screams “my concept isnt interesting enough on its own”.

Noah's Note reminded me a bit of Dr. Stone, with history instead of science as the thing they want to look cool in front of kids.

I liked a lot chapter 1 of Noah Notes. I'll still wait to chapter 10 to try to guess if it will survive or not. Like Dr.Stone, it already is going by arcs, by the way.

Jujutsu...I think it will be axed, but again, too early to guess anything.

Jujutsu is still really good, 2nd chapter was even better than chp1. I hope we get even more fun school antics, and more Fushiguro sticking around and protecting his new friend.

Noah Notes was alright. For being a first chapter that's supposed to hook you in, it's kind of crappy. Jump is going to have to push it really hard to get people invested in it though. Much like Dr. Stone the education aspect of it is not very subtle, if it succeeds I can see the anime adaptation airing on NHK.

It was cool, the timeloop twist is interesting but hopefully uncovering that mystery will continue to be the focus later on in the story, as opposed to Dr Stone in which the characters like Senkuu seemingly dont care anymore about how humans turned to stone in the first place.

Also, Jujutsu Kaisen is the perfect manga to tell that the author is an amateur, it's just super dull, cliche, and the main plot is kinda silly. The main character is like Full Drive levels of boring and emotionless.
