Not so much SW.
Red Sprite was ok compared to the super bland Demon's plan. What was wrong with Red Sprite? The first 2 chapters were kinda whatever but it progressively got better. At least from what I remember.

Does this actually mean that they will finally release HQ 24+? Been waiting forever. Here are some Jump first print circulation that I found in Vietnam. Only One Piece has reprint so it is kind complicated to track, the rest is straight forward.

Eh, Saiki was pretty much a success before the anime and the anime didn't had a impact in the manga at all. About the series in the west, well, that was true with the anime but because the manga had almost zero translations..I think gag manga just has such limited reach, and also who do people discuss the gag manga with since most are never translated, just seems no opportunity for communal enjoyment or entertainment over them. Saiki seemed to be an exception, but even then it was kind of niche in most markets, until it did get anime.
Some romance is definitely helpful in battle shounen and such as long as it's just teasing. As long as it's a background thing with small occasional hints and gags for people to get excited about and doesn't interrupt/take away from the other stuff, but a lot of battle shounen fans don't seem to like very obvious front-and-centre romance in the series.Ay quick question. I was laughing so hard from the commentary of Noah Notes on here regarding the gyaru/professor relationship that it made me think of something: do you guys feel like romance is beneficial to shonen or it’s determental? From a business and enjoyment POV? Ever since Kishi admitted that the shipping in Naruto helped towards it blowing up into a legend I wonder if it’s necessary to become successful for new authors. I’m very aware that stuff can get outta pocket in a hurry (BLEACH ending), dumb, and/or distracting to the main plot but I think there’s proof in the pudding.
Noah's NotesJust thinking: when was last time Jump MC was an adult? Hard mode: No Toriko, no Gintama. Also, no Assassination Classroom (MC is an adult but rest of characters were high school students).
