Mag Talk Weekly Shonen Jump [2018] - Discussion and TOC Talk

Going by the recent Shoseki rankings, it looks like Black Clover backlog boost is over. and Boku no Hero older volumes are back in the TOP 200.

I wouldn't say its over as Volume 15 and 14 both ranked in and its only this past week and the week before that that only 2 volumes ranked in. In the first 2 weeks of april, at least 10 volumes ranked in in lower positions. If I remember correctly, the underwater temple and witch of the forest arc or whatever they were called should be coming up soon. I recall them being pretty heavy on action and the anime apparently got new additions to the animators so hopefully its done nicely (though I don't watch the series). The conditions are still set up nicely for a boost to happen, with it airing on a daytime slot and a good amount of promotion. We'll see how it grew over 2 cours and a month next week though.

That's a tad to coincidental and Nasu doesn't own ufotable since they've animated many things outside the Fate series. A Kimetsu anime from them would be a big surprise though.

You're kidding and they're not going to pick it but the art of Kitaro 2018 in it's spooky parts would be pretty good for Kimetsu. Somehow it reminds me of Kimetsu.

Just a heads up I've seen posted places around the internet. It isn't actually confirmed to be a ufotable anime. That Tweet was because it's being announced at Machiasobi which is an event sponsored by ufotable. As seen by this Tweet shows there don't necessarily have anything to do with ufotable:

Its mostly as expected. Act-age however most likely won't make the top 50 on Oricon unless these upcoming holidays work some magic and get people to buy the volume. Depending on how it does in the coming days, we might be looking at around 15k-ish. Bokuben debuting above Darlifra is also interesting though it remains to be seen if it also does so on Oricon.
