Build King was the only one that was confirmed to get a serialization if it was popular. The one shot even read like a rough draft to an eventual serialization...

I think the odds of seeing it serialized is pretty high and especially since most of the new series are getting axed.

But fuck me, Hori's CV being announced this early does make quite worried, she only gets properly introduced after the rematch against Ishigami High, I only pray they will try to make her do cameos here and there before becoming the manager

Feels like the editor is playing a mind game, apart from Noah's notes, like they put must read series down there just to get people to flip through.

Doing that is pretty common for magazines. It would be kind of stupid to put all the popular stuff at the front so no one flips through the whole thing seeing ads or maybe something cool (in western magazines a headline in manga magazines maybe a 2 page spread of a series they aren't reading) getting them to read more.

Its going to be interesting to see Kubo's Oneshot. I never pinned him as the type to draw a Rom-com. In addition, the stuff in it seems like an interesting mix: Witch, Dragon, Reverse London are written on the color page with the two girls.

She appears in like the second page of the first chapter lol. Hell her face was fully shown a full panel before Hinomaru’s was.

On the rankings, Momiji was pretty much where expected. Didn’t think they’d place a niche series in the bottom to begin with, same for Invade You next week too probably. Interesting to see Jujutsu and Act-Age back in the danger zone. It really was just one week of fame, anything could still happen to either of them I guess.

Thats not until the 19th. Probably needed a break.

I do believe they have a backlog of chapters (iirc), so this may be because of the SDCC after all (so they won’t run out of backlog chapters when the event comes); but we’ll just have to see if there’s going to be another break when SDCC comes

Tbh, I could see Kubo doing something like. I remember that Bleach CP which had Masaki, Isshin and Ryuuken from the "Everything But The Rain" flashback arc. It was chirpy, colorful and exactly what this looks like.

Kinda crazy that Kubo is back before Kishimoto.

He isn't though. Kishimoto will actually serialise something eventually. Kubo will take a lot longer, if he ever does again.

Not to forget, the green blazers would probably be black in the actual one shot. So even the over the top use of black ink is back.

On a serious note, I'm jumping inside seeing just something from Kubo again. His art is too good to not be back even if it's just temporary.
