Isn't that top 5 is TV ad revenue only? Also Bleach is there who don't have anime for almost 6 years with flop live action movie. Looking at this BC being there doesn't feel impressive.

That was what I mean, I'm not going to say that it isn't impresive, but posting and talking about that top to prove BC is successful and nothing more looks like a argumentum ad verecundiam.
I liked for example when Iceemperor talked about MHA S1 anime and why he tought it was a flop, he doesn't only post data, he talk about it and explain to other users.
That TV Asashi Top is like this year "30% of sales are digital".
PD:If some user want to refute this post and saying why that top means that BC is very successful , so ok, and is if this is true, so good for Black Clover and their fans.

i was sure the tv tokyo list is both sales and total profit, not simply ad revenue.

BLeach appearing would suggest they still get money from both the live action and perhaps from its deal and appearing on Netflix in both live action and anime form, as well as renewing deals with Viz and other countries for streaming and maintaining disc rights, whatever money they get from the Mobile game and appearances in JUMP Force, and other whatever JUMP mobages and appearances in other games (was sure Puzdra has BLeach in it as well???).

Yeah, I'm trying to stay away from this BC discussion especially when people who mention "digital sales" cannot provide actual evidence to support their claims.
It's right up there with flat earth believers or climate change critics.

That said, I'm excited for the Oricon chart.

Digital Sale deniers are the new Climate Change deniers. People denying the relevance of the importance and changing market landscape of print media consumers switching to digital media are the ones who are pushing their own anti-[insert series of interest] views. In this very thread we have people pushing anti-One Piece and anti-BLack Clover views, which really doesnt make for a sensible view. Why does it have to be an all or nothing take for digital sales. "WEll since theres no digital sales numbers, digital sales are meaningless and not happening [insert series has dramatically declined suggesting One Piece has lost over 33% of its sales over [specified time period that justifies my claim[[]"

Why cant people just be more conservative and accept the commonly held view "the rise of digial media importance may be abrogating the decline of One Piece sales over time in ways that oricon, in its current form, is unable to capture" or "the rise of digital media importance suggests that oricon estimates are not fully indicative as to the total reach of BLack Clover sales, making series to series comparisons and comparisons to the performance of previous shonen jump series in the past unreliable and inconclusive"

Preach it brother! Really wished Sorachi would of just continued it in Jump until it ended for real, but it is what it is, we are gonna have to settle for seasonal releases now.
Speaking of, do we know exactly when the GIGA chapter comes out? Also, that Chainsawman Cover looking good, gonna keep my expectations down tho, dont wanna get hyped for nothing like with Seiji Tanaka

Gintama stopped being funny for years, it was just another formalic battle shonen with people yelling abut their ideals while ramming into each other with flashbacks in between the ramming
it went from being my favorite manga of all time to being the manga I read for +70 volumes and can't drop because its so close to the end

GIGA isn't seasonal you're thinking of Crown, Giga releases 3 or 4 issues every month on a row then goes to hiatus

Except the difference lies in the fact that we have incredible data calculated over decades showing the effects of climate change. Whereas you have not a single piece of evidence that supports BC is selling 300k+ digitally. So, try again.

No one here is denying digital sales are rising across the industry. It is the digital era for entertainment in general. What we don't like is pushing your favorite series and stating it is doing better than it actually is by using a non-existent digital sales cushion.
I've said this before, if you give me solid data and charts for digital sales for series, I'll accept it. There is nothing greater than knowing artists who put 16-18 hours of work everyday for OUR entertainment get the reward they deserve. But until you've got digital sales charts, digital sales overall numbers for each individual series, STOP bringing it up as an argument.
