It's also better.
Let's not start, come on ....

The previous WT volume was released when Food Wars vol.23 was released. Food wars sales has dropped pretty hard since then. The decline is real.

Neverland and Kimetsu have anime coming up next year
Taking for granted that Neverland in terms of sales will be the next SNK, how much could Kimetsu grow?

I feel like its already been axed and they've been given around 6 months to finish the entire thing. Its not like they have to worry about big sellers seeing as Jujutsu kaisen is growing exponentially, Neverland and Kimetsu have anime coming up next year and Act-age is also steadily growing.
More than axed, I would say that it is going towards its natural conclusion ....

I am quite sure it is categorically impossible for Neverland to be the next Shingeki, How one can imagine Neverland even selling 15mln units in 2019 is beyond me. Sorry.

I would not see it so impossible. If with no anime is in the top 10 of the best-selling series of the year, imagine what will be with the anime .....

How can this be the case when World Trigger did more in one week than Black Clover did in a month despite this being World Trigger's first volume in over a year and a half?
Ok exactly what is the purpose of this post?
--- Double Post Merged, ---
Sumou continues to be one of Jump's greatest tragedies. Its got a running anime and had 6 days for the first week and still couldn't break 30k on Oricon.
I do not think anyone expected a higher result ....

At best, it'll be a million+ seller like AC. I don't see it growing more than that. SNK was already bigger before the anime.

What is the purpose of you pointing out his post?
His comparison is between a series that has been more heavily promoted and advertised by WSJ aka Black Clover and a series that went on hiatus for almost 2 years. Both had meh anime adaptation. On paper BC seemed like a sure fire bigger hit but it isn't.

I do not think anyone expected a higher result ....
I expected some increase, tbh. Its sad because Zumou seems to be widely loved here.

Sumou continues to be one of Jump's greatest tragedies. Its got a running anime and had 6 days for the first week and still couldn't break 30k on Oricon. If anything, I'd say its on a downward trend. Jujutsu Kaisen's growth is also great. Not only has it overtaken both Bokuben and Stone by Vol 3, Vol 0 sold more than what Stone has ever sold in the first week, though its not a straight comparison due to the different number of days for each one. Still, It should easily get to 150k before dropping out. That'll make it the best growing series after Neverland in recent years.

World Trigger doesn't have a clean comparison to previous volumes but came in strong. Soma though, continues its decline. Heroaca should be well past 500k next week and grew 24k from the previous volume. Its slow but steady growth. The series is also the type to have long legs. Haikyu has seemingly stabilized. Its too early to call but it might have recovered slightly. The series is the type to frontload its sales so it might not stick around for more than 5 week though.
Yey MHA doing better than ever
HQ sell thats it
WT WTF since when you become this strong? But damn this is season 1 MHA level
Foodwars is still in decline but it's still selling better than Black Clover so axe is No
NICE JUJUTSU KAISEN a true Natural success like AssClass,MHA and Neverland
BokuBen sells well
For someone who get push by jump to hell Dr Stone growth sure is downer

I dont think the world trigger is as rosy as you paint it, as its current performance is seemingly less than what the previous volume did with an additional few days. Which I think perhaps it can be a rosy outlook if its wk2 and so on performance can show that the series truly grew beyond what it was with its previous volume. The series growth over its previous volume seems marginal to underwhelming at this point in time.

Though if it even maintains what it does, I think that puts it in the top 5 sellers of JUMP SQ...

It outsold the first week of the last volume by close to 100k.

What makes a series a natural success or not? Regardless of how much a series is pushed, if it sells well I don't see the difference.

What the hell does that mean? The decline in sales and satisfaction is evident, let's go ...

If you read the manga then it should be clear that we are at the final beats ..

People said Shokugeki was definitely in its final arc about this time last year yet it's still sticking around. Until we get an actual final arc or 'five chapters left!' announcement it could go anywhere really.

I hope the mods delete all these posts with people taking shots at BLack Clover, something that's completely unwarranted and senseless.

If jump thought World Trigger wouldn't perform decently then they wouldn't have brought it back and/or transferred it. It would have gone to the trenches of Jump+, so people gauging it against BLack Clover are clearly misguided and I'll informed. Everybody knows BLack Clover is killing it on the digital front and has outsold it total saleswise.

WT selling like that for a manga that was on hiatus for two years is really impressive

Wasn't it similar to D Gray Man coming back from hiatus?
