My thoughts on the trio
- Chainsawman: I think the fact why I liked it the most is because of a VERY relatable and grounded MC (he feels real unlike the majority WSJ MCs) and the solid concept and design of the ''Chainsawman'' itself. Needs to develop more so I could start liking it more, but the core is set up well for now and keeps me engaged. This is bound to survive the next axe round, so hopefully it will open up the plot.
- Ne0lation: Great art and MC design, with a cool hacking concept, but man, what a dissapointment. Recent chapter is a pure filler in itself, not much to see in character developments nor relationships between them. Since Jimoto is a guaranteed to survive at least until Mid 2019 (and probably more), this is among the ones on the chopping block (along with Yuuna, David and Higuma).
-Gokutei Higuma: One word to describe it...mediocre. I have so far seen nothing that it drives it apart from the rest of demon hunting mangas. Another cute girl MC that serves no purpose except fanservice....eh.
The hand-sins relation is an interesting idea, but that is the biggest flaw of this manga. It is just riding on the potential and not much more.
