Which studio is in charge of Dr.Stone’s anime? Was it revealed?

So, Jimoto Ga Japan broke the record and is now the second manga with a anime debuting so early after the debut of the series. lol I think the list is only for WSJ considering that only series on the magazine are there.

1- Mazinger Z (1972) - 2 months
2- Jimoto no Japan (2019) - 7 months
3- Tottemo! Luckyman (1994) - 9 months
4- Saint Seiya (1986) - 10 months
5- Boruto (2017) - 11 months

Otoko Ippiki had a 9 month gap, would be tied with Tottemo Luckyman.

I should also check Samurai Giants and Koya no Shonen Isamu

Checked the Jump animation prehistory (aka the pre Dr.Slump titles)

-Otoko Ippiki: 9 months gap (manga debuted on December 1968 (2 days for its 50th birthday btw) and anime in September 1969)
-Dokonjo Gaeru: 2 years and 3 months gap (manga debuted on July 1970, anime on October 1972).
-Samurai Giants: 2 years and 1 month gap (manga debuted on September 1971, anime on October 1973).
-Koya no Shonen Isamu: 1 year and 6 months gap (manga debuted on September 1971, anime on April 1973).
-Mazinger Z: 2 months (manga debuted on October 1972, anime on December 1972) (Mazinger Z was so special in a lot of ways, dunno if we should be counting it at all).

After 1973 anime adaptations of Samurai Giants and Koya no Shonen Isamu there won't be any Jump adaptation until 1981 with Dr.Slump (which had a 1 year and 1 month gap) and Dokonjo Gaeru Season 2. Then 1982 has Cobra, and 1983 Kinnikuman, Captain Tsubasa, Cat's Eye, and Hibari-kun, then every year will have new Jump adaptations (except maybe 1989, 2000 and 2013).

On the other hand, the remaining pre-Kochikame title with anime adaptation aka Play Ball is the title with the longest gap: 32 years (manga debuted on June 1973, anime on July 2005 (btw Play Ball is the only 00s Jump anime with NO subs, which makes me sad).
Second place will be the remaining 70s title with anime aka Ring ni Kakero: almost 28 years (manga debuted on December 1976, anime on October 2004).

PD: Any interesting homage to Otoko Ippiki 50th anniversary (same way Harenchi Gakuen manga has been reedited)? For the moment I can only think in the anime DVD.

Things are weirdly silent, even from Motomiya himself, but the latter day circumstances of that series may make it a bittersweet memory for him.

Though we did have it hit digital this year so there’s that at least, along with the anime dvd

I have made a list of every WSJ video game.
Working on it for a few weeks, it's not 100% complete, not including Arcade, Mobile or Online games. It will take me a lot of time to put more information there, might have open a site or a wikia for that in the future. Hope someone will find it useful.

suggestion,
- ditch the number column, since it is by date. (personal opinion though)
- Color & freeze the first row (not important but make it somewhat cleaner)
- add franchise column.

-this is a bit complicated to explain , but somehow add an explanation on "how to filter" (for others)
- Click the header row
- Data>Filter View> Create new temporary filter view

I have a few more suggestions, but those are a bit tedious

Wingman and Kinemgumi having their own games surprised me.

Also, I always thought first Jump gaver ever was that Kinnikuman game for Famicon. Now I learned first game ever is Dr.Slump one.

I also think the trend starting in 80s is another indirect reason of why Shueisha usually behaves as if Jump has started in 1980 instead 1968.

Thanks for the suggestions, added them! Hope it's more comfortable now.

There are even more earlier games, Dr. Slump and Cobra had type of Game&Watch copy by Bandai in 1981-82. Forgot to mention that these are also no included in the list since it need extra work to find info about them.

Here is 1982 CM of Dr. Slump LCD game, which as of now, is the very first game of Jump that I have found.

Nisekoi open at
Number 8 at japan box office
It is doing very poor

fortunately something like the nisekoi movie shouldnt have been a huge financial investment. Hope they pursue getting Netflix interested in streaming it unless there a preconceived notion that the western world is against high school dramas set in a backdrop of japan.

It's a bummer that it isn't doing great, but I agree that I'd really love to see it on Netflix

Was there a reprint of MHA volumes lately?
In the last several days, all of the volumes of MHA are ranking way higher in the top 500 than they usually do.

12/20 - One volume is missing from the top 500
12/21 - Lowest position is 466
12/22 - Lowest is 376
12/23 - Lowest is 288

Christmas and end of year sales, the final two or so weeks are still major shopping weeks in jpn (see video game sales numbers for example).
