Mag Talk Weekly Shonen Jump [2019] - Discussion and TOC Talk

[tirakai]

There's way too many to pick just one, though Busou Renkin's definitely up high

for EDs I have no idea, though Naruto's JITENSHA JITENSHA JITENSHA JITENSHA JITENSHA ED always makes me laugh.

Ok lads. In 50 years of Shonen Jump animation, which has been your favorite opening and your favorite ending? Try to put videos if you can.

My favorite opening: Fist of North Star opening 1 (the v2 because it has Jagi, Toki, and Raoh).

My favorite ending: City Hunter 1 (GET WILD AND TOUGH!)

I havent seen many of old Jump anime sadly, so this will be it
Bleach OP 2
Boruto ED 2 (the anime sucks but it delievered on EDs, ED 5 is good as well)

Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai has a fantastic OP outside of Jump as WYJ,

[Aeneas]

Off the top of my head:

[Neala897]

Of course I havent seen all ops and ends in Jump history but..
Ops First of all Bleach 5th op. Probably my favorite op of all timeAnother one is Cat`s eye second op. Ed YYH 3 ending aka the most ending that feels like opening

[Aeneas]

Good taste with that ending.

[Nakura]

Obviously, there are too many OPs and EDs to choose from. Just off of my initial gut feelings, Space Cobra would be my number 1.

I don't know EDs quite as well. I'm sure there are much better out there, but I've always had a huge soft spot for Gintama ED 18. I love the song so much, and the visuals compliment nicely.

[Mr.Fujimaster]

My favorite Opening:
Kimi ga Suki da to Sakebitai from Slam Dunk.

My favorite Ending:
Alumina from Death Note.

One Piece Volume 1 reached its 131 edition as of 8th June 2019.

Someone please explain why Shinohara has extremely tiny copies of SKET Dance in his house.

He says earlier they're some miniature models fans sent him. It's basically his desk decoration, along with a guitar miniature. He made the photos to trick people, lol.

[Mankichi Togawa]

Regarding OSTs, I'd say my favorite anime music-wise is Kimetsu no Yaiba. Is true that I don't recall many tracks of other Jump series, but I've never recalled an anime series so musically godly like Kimetsu.

For example, these 5 first tracks.

So, since I was able to check David's epilogues thanks to Cof, I took a peek to the afterword and tried to translate it (yeah, I loved David, what can I do). Sorry if I made any mistake, english is not my main language but I tried to make it as understandable as possible. And yeah, sorry if the fonts I used are ugly.

That's so sweet. Thanks for translating it.

About the ops and Eds: I can't decide at all, but I'm definitely watching your picks. I love ops and Eds.

Edit: I lied about Ed's. Here's my fav. It's a standard Ed, I just love it.

New Jump+ round, first seems to be a fluff spinoff of Hello World. Another ecchi coming as well.

My favorite OP, after a though fight, goes to One Piece op 11: "Share the World" by TVXQ

My favorite ED (a bit easier that ops, but still hard to point out just one) would be Bakuman ed 2: "Genjitsu to Iu Na no Kaibutsu to Tatakau Mono Tachi" By Takahashi Yuu

I don't know much about OSTs, I like BNHA, Haikyuu and One Piece, but I think JoJo stands out the most (pun not intended)

[Tamil]

OP/ED changes for me. I will pick my choices based on the songs only.
