TPN has every possibility to be a million seller if the anime is well done.

I would say that it will be regardless of the quality of the anime.

Very impressed by the first episode of TPN. It executed the first chapter very well, and they did a great job at adapting the tone of the story. I hope the rest of the season will adhere to the same quality seen today.

Neverland first episode was great! Really loved the OP (which I thought I would hate because the song is pretty okayisg to me).
How much do you guys believe Neverland will sell after its anime?

Neverland episode 1 was ok. The backgrounds are really lackluster and that would be my major complaint. I would have liked to see a more vibrant color design as well.

Hopefully it gets a really good boost in sales.

I think it would be incredibly hard to find someone who could deliver on giving backgrounds nearly as well as Posuka’s backgrounds.

Hard, but definitely not impossible. There still are people and studios dedicated to background art which still put out stunning work but Neverland wasn't fortunate enough to have that.

"City Hunter: The Secret Service" Special from 1996 will air again in TV marketing the new City Hunter film premiering next month. Crossing fingers it will be HD remaster

TPN's first episode was pretty much perfect in my eyes. Really fluid animation that nailed the tone of the series.

From my understading, original, I don't remember the new characters in the film were in the manga.

It hurts me so much that there is no Edited Manga group interested in Editing the 5 final volumes of City Hunter manga

PD: I'd say I prefer Black Clover new opening to TPN opening. Both of them are still fire

Remember when nobody believe Neverland would survive and would be an imidiate axe because it was “too dark”.

And then everyone laughed at the twitter for alluding that Neverland would be something big within the next couple years on his 1st author’s comments

Translator house got burned and having twins born this year he don't have really anytime for that so he released volume 29 which was complete before and I don't think he'll ever continue.
On other hand we can keep asking for official release, Seven Seas and Vertical Comics have survey every month/season for new licenses we can suggest, in Seven Seas case it's more possible since they alreade hold 2 Jump titles (To Love Ru, Yuuna) and also have a manga classics releases such as Devilman.

I just read the first manga chapter of Yakusoku no Neverland because the anime hype and all (going in blind). Holy crap, I am in. How is this in Weekly Shonen Jump?? I need a proper answer. The art, the characters, the tone shift, the premise...love all of it.

Imo it’s not really “too dark” for Jump. It has dark themes, but at its cour it still feels like a Shonen in the same way as it’s peers(MHA, Black Clover, etc.)
