Just was checking it on Shoseki, decent seller. Ironically it is the first time I heard about it lol.
Also Yuugai Shite and Majo no Kaigu Shu have some potential at least.

The new batch seems grim: Mona Lisa Mania bombed, and Boxer's Blast seems to be going that way too. World Trigger coming was a blessing for JSQ.

SQ have some kind of deal with Plus, some of the titles on there are written by SQ mangakas and promoted by SQ departments

stuff like: Jigokuraku , Mato Seihei no Slave, Fire Punch, Psycho against, Shuukyoku Engage, Toumei Ningen no Hone, Naked Swan etc..

so some of Plus successful titles are actually SQ successes

pretty bad for Ne0 and not great for Chainsawman either, though keep in mind Soma and Yuuna would probably rank under them without their colour pages so they're not quite hopeless.

Souma is likely safe because of the sales imo. I see it as Bleach 2.0 now. Also a big wildcard is in Gokutei Higuma which has a poor buzz and I don't see it doing better, at least not after a while. The battle of Yuuna-HZ-Chainsaw-Ne0-Higuma will be interesting. Especially if Shueisha opts to axe David-Kun as well.

Eh, Soma is nowhere near Bleach's status and I highly doubt it'll get any special treatment past a certain point like every other average selling series before it. If there's anything that could be even close enough to be Bleach 2.0, it'd be HQ.

This month's Food Wars volume had a 1.4 star rating on amazon and the previous volume did about the same too. None of the previous volumes have gotten anywhere close to the poor ratings that these past 2 volumes had.

Honestly never seen a WSJ title get that poor of a rating on amazon before.

Doesnt matter. With titles like TPN, KnY & Dr.Stone getting their animes this year, the former is already getting a massive boost from, I doubt it's going to be safe. The sales have declined so hard that its struggling to manage 300k in a month. There's already like a 30k drop from volume 31 to 32 iirc, in the same time frame. I think the sales have dropped below its pre-anime sales.

I havent read any of the recent chapters but its most likely rushing towards its finale.

As someone who keeps up with the series, I could easily see Soma continue for anywhere from a couple months to another year. It's in that weird "final arc" phase where its clearly ending, but it's hard to tell how long exactly that ending is going to take.

it's not really. It just kinda feels like a final arc but could last anytime between the next month and years from now with how it's going.

The low ratings are probably because what the series has done with Erina this arc, Erina moments have pretty much been the only thing to boost the ToC rankings of the series in the past couple years but now she's a weak damsel in distress with an NTR plot. That's not exactly something that'll please the fans.
