I honestly don't think manga like Neverland, Kimetsu, Hero or HQ will get new boosts. By now sales have become standardized.

If I have to say a manga will get it for me it will be Jujitsu, as long as the anime is made by next year.

My attempt at title translations

Hokkaido Gyaru's Adorable Accent
5 Pages of Crying Manga
Best Value (not sure about this one, it's probably a pun I didn't get)

Can't say any strike me as manga+ picks but you never know, they've gone for odd choices before.

"5 Pages of Crying Manga" sounds like one of those Twitter/Pixiv manga that gets posted daily with just some gag over and over

They all seem... weird. Especially the middle one. Is there any manga worth it in Jump+? Perhaps that SPYXFamily one?

Jigokuraku, Ao no Flag, Summer Time Render, Kanata no Astra (finished) for example.

Kimetsu can definitely get more boosts. It has momentum going for it and it's still growing at a fantastic rate.
People said MHA won't get anymore boosts after season 1, then repeated it after season 2. While I agree I don't think MHA probably won't get anymore boosts, I wouldn't be surprised if it did get a boost.
TPN might get a boost for its second season JUST like how MHA did. Who knows.

Spy x Family, Jigokuraku and Ao no Flag are the three Jump+ series I read and really like, j heartily recommend all of them. They are better than almost all of the lineup of the main magazine, imo. But Jump+ has a shitton of series, I'm sure someone can give a more detailed answer

The first one isn't weird, more like the regular rom-com. It has a really nice double spread in the oneshot.

I agree with the choices mentioned. Heart Gear is also decent but nothing fantastic. Blue Flag, Summer Time and Spy x Family are really good from MangaPlus one.

In reality it is very difficult for a boost to repeat itself except for cases like One Piece in 2009.

All those who have been intrigued by the first seasons will have already recovered the manga,

Momentum is a thing. If people keep talking about the manga during season 2, more new people will get into it. And Kimetsu's momentum doesn't seem to be slowing down.
It's what happened with MHA for season 2 and 3.

Raised this question on twitter and feel like doing it here, what's the victim of the Jump axe that you guys think deserved another chance? Interested in the responses.
I’ll Always stick with Yoakemono and Mitsukubi Condor, maybe they werent the greatest stories but to me they both sure had potential, quite funny that were from the same round in which MHA debuted, really hope both authors find success soon

Would be fun seeing an alternate universe jump where the quickest flops survived and our big hits all died quickly. Chagecha of course being the #1 modern series carrying the magazine.

Jump+ is very much worth as the manga series are better than the most of the most magazine (WSJ) by a huge margin. Jigokuraku is definitely one you should check out as it is a must read and Blue Flag. Personally I find them both better than Spy x Family...Spy is overrated

Seems we are going with Mitama Security: Spirit Busters as the official name.

Probably Shuudan. I really thought it would be the next hit Jump spokon, but hey.

I was thinking about Jump top-3 selling places. 2019 we have granted that are going to be One Piece, Neverland and Kimetsu.

2020 is going to be pretty interesting:
-Hero Academia is going to come back strong for two reasons: S4 anime, and that the next volume (the main reason that I see it losing this year against 5toubun) is in December, which counts for 2020.
-Haikyuu is also going to come back strong with S4 anime.
-Neverland has in Winter the S2 anime. However, if it ends in early 2020, it maybe will fall positions in second half.
-Kimetsu is the big question. If it gets S2 in Spring (I think so), then it will continue like in 2019. Another incognite could be if Kimetsu is ending next year and when.

Basically 2020 will continue having Neverland and Kimetsu strong but with chances of them ending soon, and the return of Hero Academia and Haikyuu.

Now hyphotizing in a longer scenario aka 2021, I see Hero Academia and Haikyuu 100% recovering their top-3 places since Neverland would be over, and I'm pretty sure Kimetsu too. Only title that could maybe threat them would be maybe Jujutsu and depending of its anime.

I can't take Black Clover and Dr.Stone in consideration. This is a four-legged race. Also, I don't see Black Clover or Dr.Stone even being able to reach the Oricon top-10 in a 2021 situation without Neverland or Kimetsu. Still, is going to be an interesting scenario since it won't have Nanatsu, 5toubun or Shingeki neither, so I can't wait to see what new titles would be reaching the top-10 in the future.
I think, regarding 2021, Jump will need a new title to sell like Kimetsu and Neverland. Maybe Jujutsu will grow to that point, maybe a new 2020 series will be a hit. How much did Neverland sell in its second year? But yeah, Jump is on the verge of losing many of its most popular series (it's not impossible that Haikyu ends late 2020/early 2021 as well), so it's interesting to see what will pick up the slack.
Yeah, these are all really good points / predictions. I think WSJ's game plan in 2021 will involve two main angles:
  1. Establishing a new hit in 2020
  2. Giving a 2018 or 2019 manga a boost with an anime adaptation
The first angle is obviously pretty hard to predict the specifics of right now. But it's interesting to think about which current series might land an adaptation, since there haven't really been any debuts lately that are Neverland tier. Shueisha will likely still want to throw out some new anime alongside what's running currently, even if it's something that's kind of middle tier, in hopes of the adaptation boosting it to true success status.

With that in mind, these seem like the current best candidates for a 2021 (or maybe late 2020) anime adaptation:
  • Act-Age
  • Jujutsu Kaisen
  • Chainsaw Man
and maybe Samurai 8, if it succeeds over the next year. Act-Age and Chainsaw Man in particular are very weird, experimental projects so adaptations of them would be interesting, to say the least.
