Kochikame is a very special case, it had its own special magazines, a thing very few properties have e.g. One Piece right now has its own magazine, and Captain Tsubasa I think has its own magazine too? (I'm not completely sure).
Usually for Jump manga they don't get any other sort of new format until their series ends, but understandably Kochikame did get several reprints in different formats.. Probably because Kochikame doesn't really follow a plot structure and its mostly self contained comedic chapters.
Anyway I'm too lazy to check right now but it got reprinted in a couple different formats, out of the top of my head: It got Bunko editions (very few titles get Bunko editions before they end their weekly runs and Kochikame did), specialized magazines like Kochikame Monthly, and Kochikame The best and Kochidas (Or something like that, it's a name I kinda remember... But it probably has a different name).. It also got its Shonen Jump Remix reprints.. I know that there was also a "best of" compilation (I think it was published after Kochikame ended, so after 2016) with around 20 volumes worth of the best stories and that's the edition that's gonna be published in Spain this year.
Also how much do you think Akimoto got paid by sponsorships to promote different cars?
I mean when you think into consideration that probably around 80% of people reading Kochikame were 50 year+ it's a nice demographic to showcase your super-expensive cars lol but still haha it's kinda weird that some Kochikame covers were basically paid sponsorships lol.
