Poor Meister. I thought it was the best of the new series. Oh well, you can't always win. Eyeshield helps Mago convinces Mago it'll take one for the team. Inumaru Dashi is in the top five (Probably editor love). Psyren is given another chance since it's new arc is catching on and Sket is in a slump.
so inumaru surprises us all by elevating itself into the top 5 (and after som slight yoyoing too. kid's got legs.... but still no pants) lowering bakuman just outside it. and bleach... ugh i hate the voters. and bokke-san being above sket dance is an atrocity. hopefully the awesomeness of the sket bangaihen will help it in the coming weeks
My question is why do the Japanese still enjoy Reborn! the series went down the tubes months ago. At least it shouldn't be anywhere near the top, hell it should be closer to the bottom.
I still like reborn a lot. But yeah all the genkishi chapters should have been rated lower than they are rated now... Love to see psyren close to the middle. Nice
Neuro was left off the TOC this week. All versions, not just Noodles. I'm not sure weather I like Bokke - san collapsing. It has it's charms as a series and could end up being very good. But I read enough good series, a manga to protect Mago and Sket for the next couple of months would be more useful.

Unfortunately since this was close to the point Ichigo and the main cast returned to the story, I can understand the talk of Bleach's collapse was "premature". We just have a bunch of braindead Japanese fans who will keep it going no matter what...combined with people who liked that week. Still doesn't put it past Toriko, which means we may be stuck with a "big 4" for a while.
There based on fan polls. Every issue, this goes for virtually every magazine, includes a post card where fans can vote for there three favorite chapters of the week. The editors at Jump compile the results into the TOC. Each TOC reflects post card results from eight weeks prior. Jump is unusual in that fan polls are the deciding factor in both the TOC and weather a series lives long enough to see it's first volume release. Jump has a long standing policy of being more responsive to their readers then the competition.
Sad, but so, so true. IS there any appeal of the manga besides that?
Bokke-san doesn't seem to be collapsing to me. It's low, but isn't it being rated now? It's not taking off, but it's not plummeting like Meister, either.

Reborn used to have appeal. It still has some. The Varia arc has amazing. It was a creative, original action arc built around fight scenes not involving super powers, at least till the last fight. The current arc has seemed intent on changing Reborn into Naruto or Bleach, which is fine if your Naruto or Bleach. But Akira - sensei doesn't seem to have that type of talent. Everything seems forced.
Bokke - san may not be collapsing. It dropped a little this week.
Sorry, I did mean current appeal for Reborn. ^^;; I've read the series and enjoyed it once the Daily Life stuff ended, although recent chapters (that I read... but I'm at least five or six chapters behind) didn't bother me all that much. It's a cute series, for sure, but...
I wonder about Inumaru and editor love, I admit, but mostly because it's a gag series and we've heard of those being placed before (variety, maybe?). It may very well not be the case.
I'm happy that Psyren hasn't been in the bottom. Bakuman falling below both Bleach and Reborn this round was surprising though. o:
Reborn! has only had a real problem since the attack on the melone base started imo. Compare that to Bleach which has been shit since Soul Society ended and still remains as #3.
A series can have a bad arc or a sequence of bad chapters but when half the manga has become complete shit its another story.
Maybe someone (who has too much free time >.>) would like to dig through our threads and list all cover and cp series in correct order? The question whether a series got a cover and how often seems to appear on every 2-3th page in this thread.
