haha, that actually made me laugh lol. I don't think they're abandoning Toriko, other series deserve attention, though I still don't know why they are pushing Kuroko.

It didn't enter the shueisha top 20 IIRC, but i never heard word of it having bad sales, and it sold out at amazon japan, which is something.

so we can assume below average, but not awful

I thought I read something like 20k or 25k as only stated sales numbers for Inumaru on 2ch...that would be the least in JUMP but it's a new gag series. Not too sure about sales numbers for other gags instead of PTF!Jaguar and Kochi though...

I understood it as "series with CP also get extra pages" and not the other way around.

That's the first week sales data (tally for 5 days).
It didn't make it to the Oricon list in the next week, so I have no clue how many more it sold after this.

The template postings at 2ch listed it as "less than 50k per volume". Though I have no clue where did they find the raw data for that.

Color Pages and Additional pages are different, when someone was asking about Medaka Box (whether it had both a CP and additional pages or just additional pages)

With his new post, my understanding is that:
Akaboshi: CP, 29 Pages (Chapter 2 always has additional pages)
Kuroko: CP, 25 Pages (this is certainly a surprise)
Medaka Box: 25 Pages
Psyren: 23 Pages

May I ask you a favour? There is some broken links in a "Jump scan dump" so... can anyone reupload this covers? It would be nice.
I'm searching for #52-2008, #47-2008, #4-5 2008, #50-2007 and #19-2007.
And... if someone can rescan #21-2009, #22-23-2007, #6-7-2007 and #4-5-2007 in HQ - it would be great!

Not with large cover pics, no... but Shueisha keeps an archive back to as far as 2003.

The covers are all 333x480 in size.

Gin has the occasional top 5 adventure. Not often, but it does happen. This is Toriko's first time out. And to fall to dead center. Not good.

i guess bakuman and toriko had some offputting stuff 8 weeks ago.

Bakuman seems to bounce around the middle. Sometimes high in the top ten, sometimes low. Death Note did the same thing. Inumaru's had an impressive two weeks though.
