I highly doubt they will get a Shichibukai offer since they are almost like the revolutionaries theyre against the Marines all of the other shichibukais havent destroyed or attacked the marines directly and as for kuma being a revolutionary and being a shichibukai he was undercover and since luffy doesnt like to do what hes told much like roger he just wants to sail de sea freely i highly doubt that they will get a shichibukai offer

After Enes Lobby the Marine could not be to enthusiastic about working with any of the Strawhats. Not to mention the captain has attacked all three of the major Marine institutions in Grand Line. I'm sure the World Government can over look all manner of violent crime. I doubt they would ever forgive anyone involved in an attack on a government facility. Even worse, a Buster Call was issued against the Straw Hats.

I would say Zoro has the highest chance of being offered a position in the Shichibukai simply because he is pretty clearly a swordsman before a pirate. So if, and thats a huge if, the WG were to ever offer him a spot with the Shichibukai it may be because of that. I mean his nickname is Pirate Hunter Zoro after all. So they may believe that he may not have much to identify with pirates, and no one says that you have to be a pirate to become the Worlds Greatest Swordsman. But like i said, the chances of an offer like that being made are pretty slim.

They have probably all been offered a Shichibukai position. Those things have to be handed out like crazy these days. Compared to the NW pirates we've met so far, half of the Shichibukai were fodder as follows:

Croc = Fodder
Moria = Should have been the first Shichibukai defeated (double, perhaps triple fodder)
Boa = Can't judge fighting strength yet, but probably a little stronger than her sisters, relies on DF
Kuma = A badass but obviously easily reproducible
Blackbeard = Knew nobody was going to take him seriously with that title so he ditched it, how do you even pronounce it?

Thankfully it gets better with the second half but the damage is pretty much done, plus almost everyone has a 300,000+ bounty in the NW anyway.

Haven't read such biased and blind argumentation in a long time. Personal opinion will follow.

Crocodile was never a fodder character, not in the past, nor in the future, why would Oda have used a page to announce his return to the NW? Moria losing to a future emperor equals him to fodder? I/you don't know what you are talking about. Pekoms who's likely in the Top100 list of the New World is not the standard/average for NW pirates, which is around 100milion as far as I remember. A self thinking Kuma was shown to be much stronger than his #02+ pacifista colleagues. /counterparts. Boa has easily kicked the Pacifista around, yeah they couldn't counter or attack back due to the chips, but that's a nice feat anyway. Of corse Teach thought is the same as ours: Pirate King > anybody else.

"Will a strawhat ever be offered a shichibukai position?"

Luffy
No. He declared war on the World Government back in Enies Lobby. He knocked out a World Aristocrat. There's no way back for him.

Zoro
Possible. Trying to turn himself in as replacement in Thriller Bark made him look like a somewhat reasonable character. He could replace Mihawk some time in the future.

Nami
Hell no! She'd try to keep all the treasures for herself, so she's not qualified to become a bucaneer. ;)

Usopp
Possible. He can be a "brave warrior of the Sea" as shichibukai. As Coby shows, he can still be Luffy's friend. IMHO it depends on if Buggy is now shichibukai.

Chopper
Possible. Additionally, he could fit the originally introduced "animal theme".

Robin
Impossible. She is of Oharan descent, knows about the Poneglyphs and the Ancient Weapons.

Franky
Impossible. He knows too much about Pluton and Vegapunk's "future knowledge".

Brook
Possible, but due to his fame as "Soul King", I don't see that coming.

Quite a good list, but I would add that most of them were good friends of Ace and they would never fight for the ones who actually killed him.

And after all...it is the crew of the new Pirate King and in the end all of them will know the truth about the void century and are way to dangerous for the WG.

Becoming a Shichibukai also means going after Luffy and disbanding from the strawhats... none of them will accept it..

The only one who would is Sanji, only to kick Goruseis ass or some other kickass plot... not forever....

Yeah, but. Rayleigh said, the Roger Pirates figured the part of the Suppressed and Forgotten Century out, too. And Buggy has been invited to become Shichibukai. I don't think that the Roger Pirates could have worked that out without making the World Government aware about what they were doing.

But what after Luffy's death somewhere in the future... Do you expect them to die with him? (If there's still a World Government after Luffy became PK, of course.)

We do not know for certain if the government is aware that Buggy had been a cabin boy on Roger's ship or not. Nor are we certain that he and Shanks actually went all the way to Raftel. Being mere cabin boys they may have left to form their own crew well before Roger reached Raftel. At this point we do not know very much about their time with Roger, drawing any solid conclusions would be very difficult.

But what after Luffy's death somewhere in the future... Do you expect them to die with him? (If there's still a World Government after Luffy became PK, of course.)
Look at Rayleighs as an example: he retired to Sabaody, drank, gambled, coated ships, and tried selling himself into slavery for some quick cash. They could all find a niche without Luffy but I doubt Shichibukai would be one of them.

ya to me all Shichibukai seem to have some type of grudge againts a Yonkou which would be there main reason for being asked to join and accepting. If you look at moria, he his entire crew was killed by a yonkou, Mihawk is a rival of shanks and Crocodile seemed to have something againts WB. Which would make sense concidering hiring pirates that are so strong and keeping them controlled would be to offer them a chance to destroy there rivals and enemies which are other pirates.

I personally doubt it. Now that Akainu is the new fleet admiral I doubt he'd stand by and let any Straw Hat, much less Luffy become a Shichibukai. I mean, it's always likely but I don't think any of the Straw Hats would take up on the offer. Whenever I imagine a marine official offering the position to Luffy I just see him go "No way. Who the hell are you?" or something of the like.

But Shichibukai are elected by WG, not the Admiral.

I never said Akainu or any other admiral for that matter are the ones who elect pirates to become a Shichibukai, I said I doubt he'd stand by and let it happen. Not that Akainu has much choice in the matter, but Akainu is pretty hellbent on seeing Luffy dead since he is a big threat to the WG and the navy.

None of them will be offered a shichibukai position. The SHP who saved Robin already made themselves the enemy of the World Government when Usopp burned the flag on Luffy's order. I don't think any shichibukai, past or current, has done that. Then, anyone who joined SHP were automatically enemies because of the notoriety. Not only that, but Luffy, Sanji, and Usopp attacked the Tenryuubito, who most likely wants the SHP to be tortured and killed. As we saw, the Marine is heavily influenced by Tenryuubito when Kizaru (?) said how they kept pestering Marine to arrest SHP.

The Enies Lobby incident also weakened their chances because the pirates directly attacked a Marine stronghold and made them look weak. Plus, other than strength, they'd have no need for SHP as shichibukai as the SHP has nothing to offer, like Jinbei, Kuma, and even Crocodile did or do. Though, one of the SHP would probably make the playing field more even, but only if that's Zoro or Sanji. I doubt either will be invited as well, considering how notorious they are. None of the other SHP so far are strong enough to be shichibukai, in my opinion.

Whether individually or as a whole, SHP's actions towards the Marine, Tenryuubito, and World Government have made it nearly impossible for them to be offered such position. PLus, it'd probably make the Marines look weak, asking one of their greatest enemies to join them.

@ M3J

I think Luffy, Zoro and Sanji are Schibukai level. Or atleast In between Admiral and Vice Admiral level (not really a powerscale and probably weaker than the Schibukai)

On the matter of them joining, its ridiculous IMO to even think that the Marines or even the WG would offer any of them a place. Like M3J pointed out, Luffy directly ordered the WG flag to be burnt down in theyre own stronghold and went as far as to hit one of the Tenryubito without showing any care at all add to that Zoro nearly beheaded one on a whim (though im not sure if they know this) and it becomes an impossibility.

They also house Robin and Franky, Robin being one of the most wanted pirates by the WG from a very young age and Franky being the one who destroyed the blueprints for that weapon. So that makes 5 Impossible invitations, 6 with Usopp since he was the one who burnt the flag and he accidentally assaulted a Tenryubito.

The other 3 are just too weak to be invited, Usopp being the fourth.

I know, those three are the only ones powerful enough to join shichibukai. The others up to this point are too weak, but they could still improve. Other than Nami, Chopper, or Brook, I don't see anyone else joining shichibukai. Plus, aren't shichibukai the captain of their own ship or group?

I dont think thats a requirement. I think they recruit strong pirates who can help them in some way. Like you said, against the Yonkou.

Well, luffy is a pirate worth 300 mil and law saved his ass during the war and he was still made a shichibukai. I don't think saving robin or burning a WG flag would be overwhelmingly more terrible than that. Heck, law got his invitation after sending the marines a bunch of human hearts (from pirates but still). What he basically said was "Hey guys, I am a dangerous murderous sociopath with no regard for human life, make me a warlord". Anyways, if law was made a shichibukai after saving the son of dragon, the grandson of garp, the man who declared war on the government and destroyed all the 3 great fortresses, I think they could overlook the robin thing.
