Beelzebub was great in the beginning, the comedy was hilarious, it was a fine manga for quite some time. After a while it just becomes a habit of reading it, just like Naruto or Fairy Tail for me, Naruto was fucking epic at the start and quickly became shit after the Chuunin Exams, but from time to time it delivered epic fights. Fairy Tail on the other hand, survived because of tards and it's ecchiness, but both became a weekly reading habit. The characters are still somewhat fun and that's what keeps me going.

Reborn on the other hand, after it's major art-style/direction shift, I dropped it once or twice, but only to gather up arcs and binge-read it. I really liked Reborn at first, it was a good gag/comedy manga until it took the Battle Manga turn, which it still did in a good way until it went full bishie. It delivered some great color pages, spreads and maybe a fight here and there.

Reborn can definitely stand on top of Fairy Tail if you ask me, it's in different shounen category, imo.
But yeah, it becomes a habit, that's why people do it. The whole "I just read it for the end"-stuff a lot of people say, is bullshit, it either becomes a habit you can't quit, or you still secretly care about it.

I dropped Tower of God after the first arc and I haven't tried the Breaker yet, btw.

It's been on my list for a while, but I need to get into manga-reading again before I can seriously start a new one, otherwise I'll drop it before I know it.

i agree with the beginning of beelzebub and naruto being great. but what i don't get is how people keep reading after the story take strange turn and become utter nonsense. generally i just lose interest. there is so many good thing to watch and read i don't see the point of forcing yourself to read something bad.

at the moment i enjoy tower of god more than one piece. the first part ain't that great, but there is a timeskip and a second part where shit get sooo epic. you're missing a lot. tower of god storyline and character development is insane. the breaker is the typical transfert student bullied, start learning martial art etc... but i got hooked on it. the first part was great, the 2nd part seems like the author is trolling-dragging it but i'm still hooked on the story :sweat

That's why I said it just becomes a habit, at a certain point I missed reading Beelzebub so I picked it up again. It was part of my weekly manga-selection.

I drop a lot of manga from time to time, just to binge them later on. Beelzebub became one of those. I really didn't like anything about Tower of God, so I doubt I'll give it another try.

There's a lot of great or good manga you are probably missing out on though. You got MAL or something, let me have a look at it.
