What gets me about this is it's true of every single kind of meeting, not just person to person encounters and relationships. I know I've been changed by the stories I've read, seen, and heard in my life as well as by the people. TRC and xxxHolic are no exeption to this, quite the contrary, I know that someway, somehow I'm a different person for having read them. Maybe not significantly different, but different. When it comes right down to it it would be fair to say that the words of Yuuko Ichihara have changed who I am.

the same for me. Actually I think xxxHolic and TRC are the two stories that have changed me the most. They've made me value people and my time with them more. I've realized how meeting people changes me even in small ways, or thought that even if I haven't realized a change from meeting some one/doing something doesn't mean it hasn't happened.

and I always thought along the lines of how "there is not such thing as coincidence" myself so when I first saw Yuuko say those words that's what got me into Holic. Yuuko has become one of my favorite characters from anything and, honestly, she is one of my heroes. She's so strong and yet there are things that even she can not do. Everyone has their limitations.

Excellent observation. That's really weird- does Watanuki remember who his parents are then? And all that TRC stuff?

Watanuki's movements and style reminded me a lot of Yuuko san...

And about the "new series" things- It says xxxHolic 'Cage' right? When will that begin? Or does this chapter start off with it?

pullin my question from the spoil thread... where did mokonas earring go...? it was there in 183 and 184 and now its gone... does watanuki have his memories back...? will that have a role in the end of TRC? what the heck has happened these past 4yrs... oi....

name change is weird... guess it might be called that to reflect watanuki being sorta in a cage now... but who knows... CLAMP always confuses me...

woa! his earing is GONE? (goes to check) OMG!!! it is gone. wtf? maybe Wata has his memories back, and so does Sakura! wow! i totally didn't notice that.
i thought for a bit that Doumeki lived there too, the way the twins said "welcome home" but i guess not. :[ i think somethig bad happend in the four year gap btwn him and Watanuki, cause they're acting rather cold to eachother. like Maybe Doumeki used the egg to do something that Watanuki didn't like . . . o 3o
maybe Doumeki is imortal now too, he doesn't really look much older at all, he said a "decision four years ago" that probably meant the egg. ack. Dou-chan made Watanuki super pissed i'm guessing.

okay, on the 13th page, bottom panel . . . that is sooooooo sugestive! bad Watanuki! (or good. *teehee*) he's just like "let's take off my apron reeeaaaalll slow."
The apron btw is the one Himiwari gave him for his birthday, i wonder if there is a signifigance in him wearing it. and seriosly, does anyone else think that there's something wrong between him and Dou-chan?

What'd she ever do to you other than be a very sweet girl who has had nothing but misfortune yet still sacrifices tons for the sake of others? And now probably lonely as heck without Watanuki around... I feel very bad for her.

Someone else mentioned in another thread about Kohane-chan too! Oh man, I wanna see how she's blossomed... But I worry for her too. Watanuki was her first close friend, and she wanted to get better for him... but then here he is stewing and not coming out to see her anymore... I hope she's managed to find other friends. I know Obaa-chan is taking great care of her, but she needs younger folks to run around with and spend time with too... So I really hope she found some, otherwise she can't have grown much personality-wise in these four years.

I hope she's found a way to be more vibrant and happy after such a tragic childhood. I just wish Watanuki would be a part of that...

It's just like Doumeki, to have continued supporting Watanuki all this time. He's really like a devoted samurai. If all these odd decisions and changes in Watanuki's attitude still haven't discouraged him, then I'd say he'll continue to stubbornly be Wata's link to the outside world, and stubbornly keep returning and keeping an eye on him. Doumeki's awesome.

I still hope he can snap Wata out of his depression. I mean, Wata looks pretty cool with that slick, world-worn face... But come on! He can only be like that for so long. Here's hoping Doumeki ruffles his feathers enough to start getting his old spazzy reactions back.

hahahaha, i have weirdly a lot of things against Himiwari. her hair is . . . XP but that's not what i don't like about her. she's fine, by herself. but i don't like her being near Watanuki at all. it makes me worried to much, so i want to push her away with a ten foot pole. i just don't want her to be as near to him as she keeps being, cuase i love Watanuki more, so his safety is more important than her happiness. kinda like i hated the food lady and the weird ghost lady (that Doumeki shot)
i think Doumeki is nice and stubborn and will stick at Watanuki's side no matter what, but right now, to me, it jsut seems strained btwn them. like something happened, something Doumeki probably instigated after watanuki's words at the end of 185. maybe something that was hidden in Watanuki's missing memories in the now missing earing. (ack, what happened to our four little puppies and kitties?!?!?)
i wonder if it'll be revealed in Tsubasa?

I´m very disappointed with this "jump" that Clamp made. It seems to me that they keep spending pages and pages with drawings that would not be necessary if they really had something to say. Same with Tsubasa and its endless scenes of things breaking or twirling.
