I'm still thinking about the being-hurt part. Watanuki said he didn't know when a doctor would be able to come, so that must have been pretty serious.

If Watanuki is maintaining the shop, does that mean that Maru and Moro can leave the shop? Since it seems kind of weird for all three of them to have to remain in the shop....
I wonder how Watanuki grants the wishes... like the cooking lady or like Yuuko? Cause if it was like Yuuko, how did he get the power? Questions, questions... Maybe it will all be revealed next chapter.

i agree with u Satt! i think that it's the strain of the wishes, because Doumeki isn't helping him. Watanuki is half of the wish granting power needed, since he's needed Doumeki's help in all the other wishes he's ever granted before. and i heard that CCS!Syaoran thing too! i think it was on a japanese site? D:
and Feisu-chan, i fangirled too. i'm wondering how often he actually stays at his own house. *thumbs up* NEVER!!! C:

I think that scene was to remind the one where Watanuki said to Kohane that if she´s hurt than he will be sad. But I saw that on xxxholic kei, not sure if the manga has it. So now he's hurt but don´t care if she´s sad x___x?

As for this customer. I read the theory on it being CCS!Syaoran and I just don't see where this idea came from. I don't really know if I can see it being him. (although, Clamp, please feel free to prove me wrong! I'd love to see that kid!) However I think it would also be cool to see like the vampire twins or something. I mean they had this cool little sub plot in Tsubasa and now they're just gone. I'd like to see Watanuki deal with them.

okay I'm done rambling.

It might of been because in Tsubasa theres a scene that takes place after he takes over the shop with him and CCS Sayoran.

What im wondering is, how is he granting wishes. He doesn't seem to have lots of abilities himself. I wondered if he uses items in the shop. Yuko said the shop was there for "that day" i wonder if it was actually for the day that he took over. Maybe he uses the items and one of them hurt him.

He also seems to still be waiting for Yuko. He says she will return but the dead cant be brought back. So could there be a chance that since its about 4 years later, could there be a 4 yr old reincarnated Yuko running around? Tsubasa had this whole circle of time thing so i wonder if this is a circle to. Yuko had her time stopped until Wata showed up. What if she is being reborn and will show up one day. Anyways enough of my crazy ideas. Hope the next issue comes out soon

Well, if anyone wants spoilers for xxxHolic, there are some in Tsubasa.

At least, thanks to the epilogue of Tsubasa which has just ended, I now know the other reason Watanuki made his decision to wait in the shop...

Before, I thought Watanuki was being a bit of a baby. I was mad at him for giving up the life that his friends had worked so hard to get him to enjoy. But now, I have big respect for his decision to wait for Yuuko-san. It wasn't ONLY for that reason after all.

He now has had no parents in the first place. He wasn't supposed to exist. Now more than ever, he and Shaoran are both anomolies. The price he paid in the void, was so that he could continue to exist at all. So despite seeming so unalive, he made it so he could be as alive as possible given his circumstances.

He pretty much belongs in the ethereal existence outside the normal world, in the shop, much like Yuuko... Because he doesn't have a real existence anymore. Much like how Yuuko was at the edge of death, he is at the edge of nonexistence. Waiting is his price, and being in the shop is the place he must do it.

It all fits together now. It's hard to put into words but I get it now. It's amazing...

And Shaoran (well, Tsubasa(m)) has an anchor to the shop thanks to Black Mokona's earring. We finally saw where that went, hehe. Very cool. The crew just might show up.

Watanuki's reasons for what he did, have gone from weak to strong. I respect him once again. Can't wait to see what the future holds for him, AND the Tsubasa crew.

Well, time flows differently between xxxHolic and Tsubasa. That point was illustrated in how differently things were paced between the battles in Tsubasa, and the decisions in xxxHolic when the two intersected.

So that scene already happened, it's past and done with.

Remember when Watanuki announced his decision to wait for Yuuko and he somehow had his glasses back?

That's because he got them back from Shaoran (albeit illustrated not as clearly in Tsubasa) when he was in that void. Notice the guy's holding them, even if him handing them over isn't expressly shown.

I just feel like Shaoran and the others might show up for the heck of it; in Tsubasa's finale it's shown as possible...

Okay, now that some mysteries have been resolved from the epilogue of TRC, we now know that:

1.) Earring was released, along with Watanuki's memories.
2.) Watanuki's price- to stay back in time while Syaoran moved forward to maintain a balance and keep themselves from fading with the clones.

Theories:

1.) I have a feeling that Syaoran and Co after the Epilogue will be transferred back to Yuuko/Watanuki's shop where Watanuki must grant their wish(es). This either refers to the customer(s) the old lady was talking about or just new customers along the way.
3.) Watanuki, being a noob at granting wishes and still being a little selfless, might have been hurt either because:
a) he was selfess and decided to take some of the burden of the price, resulting in physical pain
b) he didn't balance the price properly and thus got harmed in return
c) he fell over. okay, so maybe not, but this is Wata we're talking about

from what TRC said, it looks like Watanuki must remain in time FOREVER in order to keep the balance...so I'm not sure where this is going. Will he remain there forever even after Yuuko comes back? It makes sense that in order to keep the disturbance of time-space resulting in Syaoran's decision Watanuki must keep living, otherwise the worlds will fall into chaos again. But after reading the epilogue of TRC, it turns out that his price of staying in the shop forever/time was a price to continue living, and in order to keep the balance he needs to keep living...so confusing? Anyone have any ideas?

I remember Yuuko said that Watanuki's name contained a promise... the promise that his parents would come back to find him. The fortune teller said they were waiting for both kids. If we assume that the parents are the clones, what happened with that (remember that the clones turned into feathers and were reabsorbed)?

I understand it like this:
Watanuki now wants to keep living, which is necessary to keep the balance. Since he wasn't meant to exist, he had to pay a high price, an equivalent to life: time along with freedom to balance the worlds stuck in the loop. So, now the worlds move forward and he's stuck in the shop (the cage). I have two theories of how he could escape from it:

a) He could find a void in time

b) Someone could take his place (Yuuko?)

I'll think a bit more about this.

.......What if Shaoran (er, I know his real name but, it'd be a spoiler) and gang show up at the shop... and Doumeki is to use the egg for them? o.o

After all, he said it wasn't for use on Watanuki... so... maybe for Shaoran? After all, the egg was one which became two , an anomaly. And now Watanuki got one (though he chose to give the egg as a gift), so the other anomaly would be Shaoran getting the other?

Maybe it'll now be "fertilized" and give birth to something for C!Shaoran?

(crazy theory of mine) about the egg, I'm thinking of two things..
It's either: 1) a key for resolving/finding the clones..(or maybe also yuuko-san)
or 2) it's something you can wish for especially if its a difficult/impossible one...

anywho . . . no, i don't think so ZaCloud. that egg is DEFINETLY for use either on Watanuki, or something to aid him. so basically, for Doumeki or Watanuki's use. i'm saying this because of the fact that Doumeki is the one holding it, the one having to keep it clsoe to himself at all times. Doumeki has no connection with Syaoran, so this wouldn't make sense. if it was for use on something Syao wanted, Watanuki would hold the egg instead. though that is a nice theory. i beleive Doumeki may have already used the egg, since something seemes to have changed between him and watanuki in drastic measures. as in, he used it for something Watanuki didn't like. i'm still unsure if Dou-chan is even really ageing either. i'm ont he train of a theory that says the egg is to make him equal to Wtanuki in imortality. D:
i think 188 will have the Syao-gang in it. :3
