Meliodas was the strongest Commandment, if they said that he was able to become the next Demon King, the strongest of all Demons, it means he at least rivaled his father, even he is called him a supreme Demon in the purgatory. Both are currently weaker than they were.

I would have to say Zeldris have the leadership bestowed upon him by the demon king beyond testation. In terms of the most powerful one it would be Estarossa until Meliodas regains himself what he was. Estarossa should have been it if he werent have the soft spot that the DK saw in him. I think if Estarossa were a human being he would have been a free spirited one. It was very evident when everyone was so busy terrorising everyone in Zeldris command Estarossa was enjoying the time from being sealed for 3k years.

His death allowed the others to grow and he's still with his dad in the Purgatory, we don't know when he will come back, he might come back at the end of this arc or return brainwashed etc.

His dad could be currently stronger too, I think they are close in terms of power, like Gil and Howzer.

That would be lame if they were close in terms of power ,it would be better if it was like 50k escanor and base meliodas
There should be at least a 10k gap between dk and mel

1. Meliodas wins and gets to be revived as himself.

2. Estarossa dies, and DK does whatever it is he wanted to do to Meliodas to estarossa instead and revives himself, or starts reviving himself.

3. Meliodas and zeldris fight.

4. Zeldris attacks Elizabeth in some way as revenge for gelda.

5. Invokes Meliodas full power.

6. Zeldris gets bodied.

7. Elizabeth uses the power of love to return him to his senses.

8. DK revives through Estarossa finally.

9. Everyone fights the demon king.

10. They win.

11. Party

12. Arc ends?

(Somewhere in there is a Meliodas backstory gaiden and the other commandments dying).

That should go the same for the power. Except I think the gap between Estarossa and Mel is higher than the one between Zeldris and Mel.

I don't recollect Zeldris being shown in the Meliodas/Estarossa flashback. All we see is a tall Meliodas and Chibi Estarossa.

But Age order here might be different.

I don,t think Zeldris was born by then. Even if he was alive by then he should have been a baby plus it was only the ten commandments members that were shown.

Meh, I don't see why people say Meliodas and Gowther are taller there; it's probably the angle that makes it look like they are, because Meliodas can't have shrunk.
Anyway, yeah, Zeldris was either an infant or wasn't born yet. Probably the former, judging by the apparent age difference.

I'd say they are around the same level of power with mel being more of the warrior/fighting powerhouse type and the demon king,his father more of the mage with different abilities and godly hax. Mel is most likely to have been physically superior but gets outshined by the dk when it comes to magic.

Interesting comment from coffin-of-eternal-darkness

One thing that I thought was a bit weird was that the fanbook doesn’t explicitly call Meliodas, Zeldris and Estarossa brothers. It says stuff like “Zeldris looks a lot like Meliodas and there was an instance when Meliodas saiud something that led to believe they’re brothers. The truth is unknown” and “Zeldris called Estarossa his big brother which suggests that the three of them are siblings” but both of these are SUPER vague even though it’s been mentioned in the manga it’s still not treated as a fact that they are brothers whole other things that were recently stated in the manga are indeed treated as facts.
So the mystery about these “brothers” is still not solved…

Could it be that Nakaba has been trolling us this whole time? Could it be possible that they AREN'T really brothers? Then wtf are they? Just some rando children that the Demon King adopted?
