Skill on each of them as he can beat opponents even down to lesser blades otherwise Oda wouldn't justify his fights with Daz Bones and Zombie Ryuma if that was the case. Yes he likes using 3 swords more, but honestly his skill is on equal level on each of them. I am just saying focus on skill as his power as most he get best of his weapons. Neither are inferior than the other as it's Zoro who is the one giving the power to make his blades work (unless Enma which is magic sword that anyone can easily control with Haki). I am not debating that isn't his favorite style, but just saying on skill level is still same on either. fight history push that narrative especially even in serious struggle like Daz Bones one for example.
Equal level? That doesn't make sense if you think about it logically. Why would zoro need to trouble himself by fighting with 3 swords if he is as strong with 1 sword?
Zoro only fights at his best when he pulled out 3 swords, and even more serious when he put on the bandana

He favorite the style, but doesn't mean his other styles are weak. Otherwise some fights wouldn't make sense why he beat an credible threat with lesser swords and not usual 3 swords. Doubt it was him holding back and more his skill going in to beat them on his side like examples I talk about.

One piece has some bad writing, this is not good news. Why do you think sanji didn't do hell memories against doflamingo? Plot.
But zoro is strongest when he has 3 swords style

Zoro was superior to Daz imo just needed to overcome the fruit. And when he did it was glorious :hurrgasm
I think Mr. 1 was superior to Zoro in many ways.

But the moment Zoro learned how to cut steel, there was not much Mr. 1 could do to win the battle. Mr. 1 style involves blocking swords with his own body.

Wow Is zoro>Queen confirmed?
Not really.

Even if Zoro is stronger than Queen, a simple slash lack that shouldn't have been enough to scare him like that.

But Queen is an idiot.

Aside from Luffy, Kidd & Law. Zoro is also aiming for Kiado’s head.

He’s wasted some stamina taking down a ton gifters, Appo got the jump on him and Luffy, which Zoro quickly pays back also retrieving Queens cure for his virus, while destroying his Gatling gun.

The way Zoro acknowledges King & Queen blocking his path and getting pass them won’t be easy. Then Marco suddenly shows up asking how he can help.

I don’t think Zoro is going to face off against a YC. I think Sanji, Marco, Jimbei & Law will stop members of the Tobi Roppo & YC. While Luffy, Zoro & Kidd take on Kaido & BM.

As things are now, facing King or Queen would be placing further obstacles on his path to reaching Kaido. As you said though, he's aware that he'd have to go through one of those two in order to reach the top.

If Marco is taking him to the dome, the most likely scenario is that Marco would opt to intercept King and throw Zoro up there; in which case he would be reaching Kaido and Big Mom around the same time as Luffy (currently on 4th floor) and Kid (likely reaching 5th floor), if not just after Kid at least.

If I had to choose between tag teaming in a fight against Kaido or facing a YC; I'd choose the latter because then we'd get decent content for the solo fight. I still believe there's a chance he could do both.

I kind of don't want to see Zoro take on a powerful commander and then proceed to fight Kaidou until Kaidou is defeated, but also I want to see him and Sanji push themselves beyond their limits to win. But also, it'd make them too overpowered, depending on how they win, and it'd make for boring fights unless they come across very strong opponents.

I would like to See Zoro go 1 v 1 against a Commander also. Bring back the old formula and feel of the manga.

But I wouldn’t mind a new formula mix up, now that the battles have turned into Wars, & Alliances being formed, This time. I wanna see Zoro & Luffy pull a Duo on Kiado.

I think it’s over zealous as a Zoro fan to want him to take out a commander & still wound Kaido..it’s entirely plausible but it is asking for a lot. When a lot is already going on

Yea both Black Leg & Bounty Hunter need some good 1 v 1. Wano is different.

The set up for Zoro facing up against Kiado Keeps getting built up more and more.

I don’t want it to be a cool ass casual assist. I want Zoro to go Mano e Mano just like the other Samurai did. Testing his meddle against the Yonkou.

As for Success factor. I’m not expecting Zoro to take Kaido’s head lol. I think he’s gonna get the Club treatment, but may pull a OG Zoro & soak up some serious punishment. His involvement however will matter in terms of Kaido’s defeat

The only way I see Zoro pulling double duty is if he goes up against Kaido first during the group scuffle, then he gets blown away early on after his contributions.

While it happened before (i.e. everyone vs Enel), I don't think this time Zoro is just going to fight the main villain and get one-shotted.

I will leave an early x-mas gift here for fellow Zoro fans. It's copy-paste from my thread from another forum, enjoy:

Why Zoro is a top tier already?

Let's see how Zoro's combat works and what his power level since time skip needs to be.
I will address more things and go into more detail as to why Zoro is probably a top tier since the end of the time skip training.
I will focus on 3 major sections: combat abilities, portrayal and future development.
First of all, we need to understand how swordsmen fight and what stats they require/stats they should excel at to be a top tier.

Those are: Physical Strength, Armament Haki and Attack Speed/Reaction to attacks/Blocking Ability as the 3 most important stats for a swordsman.
Secondary stats required are: Evasive Maneuvers, Durability and Endurance.
There is also Observation Haki, however, that stat is not quantifiable and is more or less the same for 99% of characters and barely detectable in combat.

Alright, let's start with Physical Strength as one of the major 3 stats. The very fact that hardworking character like Zoro is no longer training since he is back from time-skip tells more than anything else. That means that his physical strength is already at the required level. He also has available boosts of physical strength such a Gorilla Arms and the multiplier technique Demon Spirit Asura which grants him 4 arms more and a total of 6. The proof of his physical strength being incredible are moments like blocking the swing from Hawkins' huge doll and overpowering the gravity from an Admiral and attacking through it.
Attack Speed/Reaction to attacks/Blocking Ability is another of the 3 major stats a swordsman needs and Zoro always had this stat at top-notch levels. He can send multiple slashes instantly as seen when he was dicing the arm of Pica's golem or the Yasha Garasu against zOars. Reaction to attacks is a stat that Zoro always had at incredible levels and can be seen against Kuma's pad Canon while being in almost dead state, reaction to the surprise attack from Hawkins' doll while blocking the swing, reactions to Gyukimaru's cheap shots or Kawamatsu's sword throw... Blocking ability is very crucial as that is an action which swordsmen perform a lot, for the majority of the fight and Zoro has it very high, especially since he has more swords to block with than most of the other swordsmen who use 1 or 2 swords. The only times when Zoro failed to block was when it was a surprise attack from point blank, being mid-air and isnt attacking or when an overwhelming attack frequency occurred like Kaku's Rankyaku rain which was bounced off the ceiling. That is also counterable by sending one huge slash but Zoro tried to block each projectile separately which was bad strategy.
Armament Haki is the backbone of top swordsmen and it also supports the stats like Blocking Ability with barriers. The only two swordsmen in OP universe to ever be proclaimed as the best of the best among swordsmen have advanced their Armament Haki so much that they became able of pulling off the rarest feat in universe, the black blade and Zoro was hyped up by swordsmith Hitetsu that in his hands, a sword could be forged into Kokuto. Zoro has shown barrier back in Fishman Island and has demonstrated huge haki releases when he sliced up the stone golem which requires tons of haki being released and he not only stopped Enma's gimmick from drawing his Haki out further but he actually reversed the entire process, he absorbed the haki back in, as soon as he realized what Enma is doing. His Hardening has protected his swords from breaking against mountain busting force.

I wont go deeper in it and everyone by now should be aware of Zoro's complete combat abilities and that he even has some which no one else has, nothing even close to Zoro's Demon Spirit Asura has ever been seen. His Santoryu style is splendid already and offers an advantage over other sword styles, at least in a number of attack sources and better blocking ability. If it ever fails, there is Kyutoryu to give him a hand or four.

When it comes to Evasive Maneuvers, Zoro has demonstrated some dope stuff with Toro Nagashi several times and both times he was on the verge of death. He has dodged light speed laser shot in the same condition and the Pad Canon single shot which grazed him on his forehead. Swordsmen are combatants who dont require much mobility, however, that doesnt mean that they cant move when they need to. Zoro has demonstrated running speed equal to Brook, who is considered as the fastest runner among Strahwats in SBS. It is a stat that also isnt quantifiable and useless most of the times. Swordsmen dont need to run around, they have the ultimate weapon to meet any challenge.
Durability stat for swordsmen is a natural advantage, their contact surface in both attack and offense are swords themselves. For their durability to even be affected, the attacks need to bypass swords or swordsmen need to be slammed into objects along with their swords. While most swordsmen have 1 or 2 swords, Zoro has 3 so his durability is pretty damn good.
Endurance stat is something Zoro is famous for. Whoever knows One Piece, knows also Nothing Happened scene which is perhaps the best Endurance feat in entire manga, only rivaled by Whitebeard in Marineford however stained by WB's death. Some say that Luffy's performance in ID and MF surpasses it but they forget the obvious cheat code, doping from Ivankovs hormone injections. I'll leave it at that when it comes to combat abilities.

When it comes to portrayal, Zoro has been mirroring a top tier portrayal from Mihawk.
Mihawk slices a galleon when he shows up in East Blue - Zoro slices a galleon when he shows up after TS, Mihawk calls Zoro a frog - Zoro calls Hyozou a frog, Mihawk deals with Zoro with small knife - Zoro kills the magistrate with seppuku knife, Mihawk slices a frozen tsunami - Zoro slices a stone golem.
No one else has defeated an opponent through sheer fear like Zoro has done it with Monet, someone who dealt with Tashigi rather easily.
Zoro clashed with Admiral Fujitora two times and wanted to go for a 3rd and actually stood his ground, no matter what people think of that clash and seriousness of it.

By portrayal, Oda requires Zoro to stand above all other swordsmen, just as Mihawk does it right now.
Since the New World started, no one has ever bested Zoro in combat. His Haki is portrayed as better than Oden's as in his hands the swords will become Kokuto which Oden could achieve. Scabbards like Kinemon who have seen the performance of their lord Oden, has dropped his jaw for Zoro's performance in Dressrosa while Kawamatsu kept being impressed by ronin Zorojuro. A Shichibukai like Doflamingo, who dealt with Luffy and Law, was protected from Zoro by admiral Fujitora while he didnt have no issues whatsoever trashing almost all other characters.

If you doubt that Zoro is a top tier and didnt prove himself, the answer is simple, there was no opportunity to prove himself so far. The closest opportunity was Fujitora who wasnt mean to be a conclusive fight and yet, Zoro actually looked good against him. Regardless of lacking the opportunity to prove himself by beating an opponent, he still has proven us that his destructive capability and haki are incredible and portrayed above people like Oden, who is a top tier himself. I will address his future progress below which will make it obvious why Zoro needs to be a top tier already.

When it comes to future development I dont expect too much new stuff but a re-use of Zoro's already existing abilities.
When it comes to new stuff, we can expect the ability to cut fire in Wano since that's a theme of the arc and Zoro expressed an interest in it and there is also the forging of the black blade. Which of the primary and secondary stats is the ability to cut fire boosting?
Physical Strength, Armament Haki, Attack Speed/Reaction to attacks/Blocking Ability, Evasive Maneuvers, Durability or Endurance? Maybe his running speed?
What about black blade? From what we know it is a harder blade than others and it's not like hardness has played a role ever since Baratie or whenever?
Which of the stats above if Kokuto increasing? His reaction speed, he maneuverability, his physical strength, endurance perhaps?

Let's move on from Wano to Zoro's next obstacle, Shiryu of the rain, a mad man who enjoys killing people for fun and was portrayed as Magellan's equal and is portrayed as Blackbeard's 2nd commander which is a parallel to Whitebeard's second commander Oden and has his swordsmanship paired with a DF which makes him an extremely dangerous individual for any character in the verse. The invisibility and swordsmen is a brokenly overpowered combination, they were ending fights in one clean slice anyway and with such DF getting that one clean slice is even easier. A lot more easier if his fruit allows him to clear the aura so even Observation haki cannot detect him.
The key to victory there will most likely be Zoro's old ability, the one which allows him to hear the breath of anything. A unique way to detect Shiryu's position and strike to achieve victory. Now, whether he listens to the breath of things while laying on the beach or while being in combat, which of the stats mentioned earlier are increased?
Is it physical strength or armament haki or attack speed? An ability useful in unique circumstances against Shiryu, of no use anywhere else.

Leaving Blackbeard Pirates we are heading toward the possible opponent who is a certified top tier, the admiral Kizaru with who Zoro has unfinished business to settle since Sabaody Archipelago. Zoro would be facing a top tier while he went from Fishman Island to World Government without any of his stats increasing since we saw that cutting fire, tougher blade and listening to the breath of things isn't making him stronger, faster, more durable or anything... So, are all the cards placed here, this is the moment where the magical power-up happens and Zoro becomes top tier? No, there is no such power-up, Zoro isnt capable of power-ups which propel him from weak to strong. After that, most likely, he will be facing the Dracule himself, the man with hawk eyes. The greatest fight among all swordsmen is the one where Zoro will go from weak to strong? For this fight to be a spectacle it deserves to be, Zoro cannot be anything less than Mihawk's equal from the moment that fight begins.

To wrap it up, Zoro has no power modes which make him stronger, his power is the same during the entire fight, it only changes in the last attack when he pulls incredible finishers, they are not permanently used. He is required to be capable of fighting anyone without those finishers because there is more to his fights than just the ending. As we saw his future improvements arent actually powering him up but are only circumstantial benefits against specific opponents and he no longer trains.
Isnt training anymore, his future "power-ups" arent actually powering him up so how does he become a top tier? If he isnt one already? Will he eat a DF? Borrow gears from Luffy or RS from Sanji? Is anyone able to explain what he needs to become a top tier? Where is the missing link between current Zoro and top tier Zoro?

Cheers. :hi

Zoro is YC4 Pre Enma.
Imo with Enma he’s probably YC2.

That’s not top tier @nik87
Respect the effort but, you couldn’t be more wrong. From just a whole story perspective. Luffy gets to be the strongest; Zoro at best would be a respectable rival. But the PK surpasses The Worlds Greatest Swordsman.

Zoro couldn't even put down Apoo in 2 vs 1, so nah, he is at best YC4, but haven't shown anything taking on credible opponent in 1 on 1 to say he is beyond anything. He is going to need help facing an YC lvl opponent if Apoo gave him that much trouble.

Ehhh....Nah, it be huge gap just like Roger and Rayleigh where Roger can fight off Whitebeard, but no one in his crew can't. Luffy be on his own tier overall along with certain few, but Zoro will not be apart of that. He will be a top tier at EOS, but not deep one.

Tanking YC King isn't YC4 would do. Though not saying Sanji won't team up in his fight with YC lvl opponent either. Though Idk why you bring him up since we talking about Zoro though.

Just making sure you don't say something hypocritical.
