The concept was good and it started out interestingly but it loses steam quickly past the middle of second volume or so. It seems to me that the authors were told by the magazine's editorial board to cut stories short and to include more violence and sex in order to sell. Look at the difference in jacket illustrations between the first and the last volumes. The first volume alluded to a saint-like figure like Nausicaa (not that I think that is the ideal character) but in the end she becomes really weak, breast-flinging character.
