Summary and Preview
Yuki-chan is a very popular tengen-boke girl in school. Whatever she does makes it popular in school. One day, she puts a maple leaf in her hair as a decoration and asks her friend, Rin-chan, for her opinion. Rin-chan finds it dreadful and a piece of junk, yet other girls in the school find Yuki-chan's maple-leaf-hairpin cute, and so the trend started in school. Rin-chan, trying not to blend in as favoring what the others are doing, but lingers around the words 'show-off' and 'limited.'
In spite of that, Rin-chan goes into the woods and searches for the rarest and most beautiful leaf. But when she arrives in school with a special leaf in her hair, the trend had already passed by and others even find her 'hair-pin' a piece of garbage, except Yuki-chan. That's the day that Rin-chan found something that was actually 'special.'
