Summary and Preview
Carol's grandmother used to sing her a scary song about a man called Treize. He was a magician who appeared above the 13th street light at 28 o'clock (assumed to be 4 AM). If someone calls out at the streetlight, he'll smile and the magic show will begin. However, if you're a bad person, he'll turn you into a rose with a single sword slash. No one else seems to know the Treize song, and Carol is often teased by her disbelieving classmates, but she's determined to prove to them that the song is real, and that Treize does exist.
