Hahaha, he does, doesn't he? But nah, he's just gotten the royal shit beaten out of him and he's still a little punch-drunk there. He's usually drawn with his eyes closed anyway (I recall reading somewhere that the artist wanted a protagonist who looked more like a typical Japanese person), but he can see perfectly well.

hi i've just joined the forum and i have a fairly big request.

I'm helping out another translation group finish translation this manga called Samurai Deeper Kyo (im just doing the photoshop stuff because the actual translator is having technical difficulties). My translator really behind because she has lost their internet. So im wondering is there anyone out there willing to help take her place for a bit because we are only 9 chapters away from finishing.

It's tough without context, but I think the second panel is actually a flashback of that guy on the train tracks (?) talking:

"That woman is after a man I failed to get my hands on before. A man who knows the whereabouts of an extremely pure drug worth a billion yen"

Then:

"The retrievers from Ura-Shinjuku?

So that "trio" is involved in this, huh?
