So while I've only read the original but not the scanlated piece,
how do you guys think of the story, and jojo in particular?

Still haven't read the entire final chapter of Part 7, though I'm feeling quite
depress regarding the content in general.... too much sadness without
a "happy" ending.. > <

As for this 1st chapter, lol the brief encounter between the protagonists
reminds me of Popeye meeting Wendy from Wendy's ! I'm not surprised if
the 'weird' guy is going to join their team and venture outward back to
the main city (and they can't, for the obvious bizarre nature of the plot).

Then there's the eyes of wall (did i interpreted it correctly?) and the
floating Star and the bite-mark....

So this one is newer than (Part 7: Steel Ball Run)!! So really steel ball run is over.
T_T It was epic and I was saving it for the summer. Hope he end it will, and I will read this 1 too. Thanks Hangedman for the news.

BTW jojophile didn't u get tired of always a happy ending?? That is what makes Seinen better than Shounen. No more ridiculous stories where the hero always win without any lost from his side, or the hero tell the villein to stop then he really stop saying my bad.

Next year is Jojo 25th anniversary.

Hirose Kangbao(tentative), is the girl heroine,
same last name as Koichi Hirose (Echo ).
? Higashikata (from the last name of Josuke Higashikata ),
her childhood friend, woke up in the
hospital with a similar "teeth marks" on his knee.
Apparently Hirose has a dog named Josuke.

JoJoLion (tentatively), seems to carry a
humorously exaggerated way of speaking like Okuyasu Nijimura.
His cap has the label "SBR 1891."
He seems to have discovered his name from his tailor,
it is Yoshikage Kira (Killer Queen )
(in which the name would later became a pun in another
of Jump's manga following in more or less the same plot).

I like the drawing style, they changed a bit again,
kinda more japanese (oriental) than western like SBR.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure part 5

am i the only one who wasnt really feeling part 5. for example what happened to giorno's ability to deflect attacks. he just stopped doing it. and he never really felt like the main character it focused mostly on the other members of the gang. i didnt even get that awesome sweet one more for the joestar bloodline feeling when he beat Diavolo. it was just like i barely know who you are. an they tried to explain the origin of the arrow and i would have rather them left that a mystery. it started out as a persons life force now its something that affects the cells what ever they said. now that i think about it there is alot of problems with the story. like how did SP get all those things for jotaro when he was in jail when he is a close range stand. and some of the abilities started to get abit to bizarre im just saying how would you even find out what your ability was. like the manipulating the iron in someones body or the mold when you get below his level( i think thats how it worked) im about to read part 6 and i assume the abilities are gonna get even dumber. now dont bite my head off i still love the series but sometimes i just get that what the fuck face. if it gets worse the series has tanked in my opinion.

Well JoJo's Bizzare Adventure were lasting from 1986-1999. It's not counting the other franchise such as Steel Ball Run or Jojolion.

Seriously I can't wait for the anime and the Ultra Jump Jojo's anniversary edition also looks too tempting to be bought. It's surprising that it took a long time before Jojo get an anime adaptation.

Actually, there was an anime adaptation of Part 3 before. And a movie of Part 1, if I'm not mistaken. And one of those, or both have been really bad that Araki refused to accept adaptations until this year together with celebrating JoJo's 25th Anniversary.

well animation seems ok but i dont think i like Kazuyuki Okitsu as Jonathan's voice. Takehito Koyasu as Dio is better. i think in terms of anime araki will once again get dissapointed.
